The past few weeks have presented some resurgence in discussion of PVA content and to be organized and informative I thought we could put the discussion together on one thread.
As of the latest chromosome build there has been little to no PVA usage. However, I believe many of us are looking forward to this type of glue as it creates a bond with what is at the moment a little antithetical of the Dust 514 vision, that is to say monotonous, not to say that sticking corpmates together with it is in any way boring ^^. It also lends itself to what will eventually be stuck to a secondary market similar to that in Eve.
While I understand the need to make Dust a very PVP dominant game, bringing PVA appeals to both the mmo/rpg as well as depth and story. Furthermore it presents a wholetype of bonding for Eve Players to hire Dust mercs with a challenge and reward for Dust bunnies; Not to mention marketing and bringing in PVA interested players to Dust 514. |

Fixed.
I also believe that bringing PVA to Dust 514 would be a great entry into Dusts firefights.

PVA? Player vs All?!
Actually, could a player oriented siege mode work? A small squad starts the game mode with the objective of defending a central fortified position. They are allowed to use everything at their disposal. On the other side, a full team is against them but they can only use milita gear.
Round 1 starts, each side has a 25 clone count. This mode could be played with an objective to hack like the One and Only Skirmish mode or with simple Ambush clone depletion only. Attacking side can use only meta level 0 equipment.
Round ends. New round replenishes the attacking side's clones back to 25, defending side remains how it was or replenishes a small percentage, for example ending the round with 20 clones left would bump it to 24 for the next round (that would be a 20% replenish)
New round allows attackers to use up to meta level 1 equipment. Round 3 up to meta level 2 and so on. The maximum number of rounds could be either fixed at 5 or 6 rounds or adjusted by the game starters. |

Poly-vinyl acetate (I think). Iirc correctly it's mostly used as a wood glue. |
