I own two ps3's (because one of them has a broken Blu-ray lense) and so I was wondering what I should do with the extra one. Should I make an alt account on it and just have it AFK farm in-games while I play on my main ps3? Its a morality problem you see..... sure I could build up an alt account even faster then just letting it passive gain, but it be at the teams expense! (well.... my electric bill as well). What would you guys do if you have two ps3's?
Whats CCP's stance on alt accounts anyway??? Whats stopping someone from making three alternate accounts that all gain passive SP instead of using the other two character slots? Will they ban me or anyone else they find having several psn accounts using the same IP? |

If this happened, I would be banned, so would my girlfriend, her brother and one of our friends.
Several of my less-developed alts would be fine, but I'd lose 3 characters who I use rather a lot. IP addresses aren't the most reliable method for identifying an individual. |

In my experience CCP loves alt accounts. I can't really say with the PSN accounts but I am one of those people who has 3 EVE online accounts, CCP encourages alt accounts. |

They sure do. But what you are missing is alt accounts can lead to what CCP likes to call emergent game play, in other words spies and espionage.
Plus, some people might be spending money on there alt accounts in dust, like buying boosters for them. Couldn't see much more reason to spend money on them though. |

Make a squad and defend order yourself. 40% boost to WP and a solo orbital every game. A good orbital is more useful than most players in my experience.
Also you can get double the SP and nearly double the isk. |
