Haven't actually played through a few matches in several months, and I've gotta say I'm enjoying Dust again! My PS3 is getting consistent framerates of ~30 instead of a spotty 10-15, and I'm managing to actually play the game. Must've been some optimization improvements recently or something.
Anyway, gotta say I'm looking forward to Uprising, haven't been excited about Dust in a long time! I just hope it actually runs as smooth as the video of it I watched, those framerates looked fantastic! The new weapons look sick too!

consistent frame rate of 30?... what game have you been playing? I constantly get frame drops. Approaching objectives the most noticeable. Either the frame rate drops, or it just takes a whole second for the textures to load in that particular part of the map...basically freeze framing.

Don't get too excited. The framerate issues are still very much there. The countless bugs and disconnections you will encounter will be sure to send you back here and this time no so enthusiastic. |

Oh believe me, the frame rate drops are MUCH better than they were last time I played. I've been playing since E3, and I quit in Codex (I think). Last time I played the drops were so bad I couldn't aim, let alone walk. I think there might actually be something wrong with my PS3, so it's possible that the several months break i has gotten has helped :P
Anyway, yeah I'm getting around 30FPS in ambush most the time, it's a bit lower in skirmish, but still playable for the most part. |

they are..... I stopped playing a week or two before this build because of how I couldn't aim do to frame rate drops. The game was infuriating back then but now I enjoy myself on occasion. They just need to get on with the features they've promised and the game will start to be much more fun! (not that its too bad on its own right now, it just needs a bit of work). |
