Do these actually work?
I'm not quite sure if these actually do what they are supposed to do or all they do for right now is look cool.

honestly dont think they do man, we talked about this last night i believe
been running these for a while now and it honestly doesnt pick up **** imo |

Ahh, but perhaps in Uprising things will be better, considering they totally revamped the scanning system for the handheld scanners. One can only hope  |

Our tank drivers speculate that it just doesn't work for them personally. Its hard to tell if an infantry man is seeing a dot on the radar because the tank is using a scanner, or because someone else is spotting them though :/ |

It's wildly speculated that it does nothing. personally I think it just has such a low effect.

Their precision is like 35 or 40, so it is pretty high, so your basic assault suit with dropsuit command to 2 or 3 will not necessarily show up. I'm not sure if any other skills affect it though. I like to use a cheap LAV with a scanner to locate the enemy squads in advance of an orbital strike. |
