This is a continuation for part one, elaborating on how I think Drones on vehicles should work:
All LAV's, Many Dropships, and some HAV's should get a Drone Bay made into them. No militia vehicle, however, should get one. Drone Bays would work Like a D.M.C., how you fit the Drones to you. But, they are not pre-launched. You select the Drone Bay module from the wheel, pick the ones you want launched, and you can launch them. The Drone Bay uses the Dropsuit ones I described in part one. Drone Bays are only given to the driver, andhas a slightly stronger bandwidth than dropsuits.
Drone Hulls:
There is a new Turret called the Vehicle Drone Master Controller (Or V.D.M.C. for short). What it would do is allow you to use Vehicle Drones, which are the same as the Dropsuit ones, but higher stats (more eHP, higher movement, better tracking, etc.). Also, there would be a new one, called the Super Heavy, that onced launched, it will not move. However, it will be able to fit Super Heavy Modules and Equipment that are slightly Stronger than the Light Vehicle modules and weapons. It also gets two extra Equipments. the V.D.M.C. also makes the Bandwidth higher, and the Drone bay larger.
Drone Equipment:
Mobile CRU- What the name says. You stop, deploy it, and it launches itself to the ground, acting as a tempoary CRU. Once the area is secured, you reclaim the Drone back to the drone bay. Only for Super Heavy Drones.
Mobile Supply Depot- What the name says. You stop, deploy it, and it acts like a tempoary Supply Depot. Once the area is secured, you reclaim the Drone back to the Drone Bay. Only For Super Heavy Drones.
Target Painter- When you launch this Drone, you take control of it. you are able to fly around and spot groups of enemies with it, similar o the MAV from BF3. It also has another function: painting. You hold down the trigger, and it spots a area for support of some kind to fire on. However, if nothing is spotted, then the area won't be spotted. The higher the meta level, the better the scan. Light can fly higher than others, Medium can go medium height, and Heavy can only Scan at ground level. Super Heavy Drones can't use these.
Weaponary- Vehicle Drones get a extra bonus; not only can you target a location, you can man the drones themselves. just hold down a button, and you will be able to man them.

EDIT: If a vehicle does not have a drone bay, then it will not be able to use the V.D.M.C., as it grows the bay; it does not make it's own, although, it uses it's own that it is assigned. EX. driver of Limbus (which should not drop the power of anything but the turrets) has a Drone Bay onoard, and a V.D.M.C. on the back. The driver is able to use the drones assigned to the Drone Bay specifically, and the V.D.M.C. user will be able to use the Drones in the Drone Bay that are assigned to the V.D.M.C. Nobody can use all the drones that way. |

EDIT: If a vehicle blows up, and the drones are still out, then they protect the pilot, but even if the pilot has a D.M.C. (from part 1), he will not be able to use the Vehicle drones, to prevent abuse. the only thing they can do is passive defend. Also, once you return to a base, any remaining drones will fly up to safety in the warbarge. |

The vehicle pilot cannot drive around shooting at things while taking control of a drone, way too much to do
Drones are automated to do a specific job |

Whoever can't do this doesn't need to be a pilot then, as they already have to micro-manage modules. This is very much like managing modules. |

No it isnt
The drone which can target stuff is player controlled
So how are you going to drive around, activate mods, shoot ppl all while controlling a drone? |

That is a special equipment used for scouting. I highly doubt any sane HAV pilot would put one of those on a Assault fit. The rest aren't. Try again. |

That's a big assumption about the player base. If it's possible, someone's going to try it, and then complain about the system. Not many, but someone will. |
