Noticed Synner Zerg's fitting tool and wondered if it might be useful to post this in the General Discussions rather than the Training Grounds where it's been sitting for a while. Just throwing a link to the original post.
Chankk Saotome's Character Skill Planner
I know a few are using it but it seems the Training Grounds are only viewed by people who are interested in more than the trolling, keyboard warring, and QQ flaming that goes on in General Discussion.
Still, thought it could be helpful to anyone who can't find the time to look at that link just a few slots below. All the data is listed in the original post.
Also, expect this data to be changed and updated with word on the new builds. I've thought about expanding it to include skill effects though that's already out there in several places and doesn't seem really necessary to reinvent the wheel. |

A useful addition might be to include a skill queue with total required SP and an ETA for queue completion :) |

I had thought of that, actually my own has a listing based on both passive SP per week and max 190k active per week.
The only problem is that so many people's SP gain is so severely different that I didn't want to discourage anyone by having those odd caps or not including those who have higher because of boosters.
I could possibly add in just a list for you to input weekly SP gain estimates and have it calculate how many weeks it would take for the 'Long Term' goals...

Great tool, it really helped me a lot when i was planning out how to start my characters. If you don't mind, I will add a link to your tool inside the info sheet on my spreadsheet.
BTW, have you compiled data on the skill per-requisites anywhere? |

Technically the skill-prereq's are written into the SP calculation function itself.
As each skill has a different requirement rather than writing out tons more charts to list everything a half a dozen times over or more I just put it all into the single equation.
On my own chart it actually shows what skill is required to gain but as Google Docs doesn't like calculating out text I had it output a "-0" if you don't have the prerequisite skills and thus it will not calculate said SP requirements, except for "Long Term" I think I removed prereq's for those but I may have missed.
I will be reworking the whole thing when the new build and possible skill changes or adjustments occur but as said in the original post I'd like any suggestions for things I should add at that time. |
