The game is to hectic they need to slow things down a bit for example holding circle which puts you inside a vehicle is dumb to me. How about when we hold circle we watch as our character jumps into the vehicle and then drives, switching seats takes a hole nother movement. I think Dust needs to slow down people are just spawning into the battle field and rushing to their death which is bad for certain players because suits cost money. I guess you could say the hectic battlefield is what contributes to spawn killing, no one really thinks before they spawn at a CRU and they are instantly dead. The game needs ways to slow it self down a bit and anyone who thinks its op is wrong because if the game slows all of its functions everyone has to slow down with it. I personally wouldn't mind having to get into my tank, turn it on, and when I want to get out actually have to step out of the tank.
I know a lot wont agree but I wish Dust was slower paced and more realistic this doesn't mean making a worse game or playing at snail pace where players score 5 kills every game. But I would love to be able to walk around in dropships, actually have to move to other seats, and actually come out of a cloning machine not just randomly spawn by it.
Thanks if you like realism, non bunny hopping, and non hectic games. p.s. for all the people who are going to say go play something else I am a dedicated Dust 514 I was just offering my 50 cent on how CCP could improve their game. Lastly I feel slowing down the game would decrease drop suit loss I am sure people are tired of some a hole running them over or being spawn killed.

the game isnt slow one second i am running into a forge gunner the next a swarm launcher and the next i am helping a group of players in a small group conflict. I dont understand why u think the game is slow on tiny maps but maybe when the map size increases games wont be so hectic. |

Actually your arguments sound personal. War is hectic. The EVE/Dust universe is not to be taken lightly. I could care less about the animation of entering in a tank. The last thing I'm thinking about is the aesthetics. This is war, I don't dress pretty or want to look pretty for a fight. Your OP reads as if you want to play dollhouse in a mercenary world. That's not the case here.
Also, the people rushing to their deaths are foolishly thinking this to be a COD game. It is not. Instead of mashing on the respawn button, how about you wait for a triage to revive you next time? How about you look at the battlefield before you choose your place to spawn? How about instead of running to your death, you scan, observe and react accordingly? In other words, learn from your mistakes.
If you want realism, then you have it. War is never pretty, especially in the bowels of another universe where power struggles are constant and paramount.

Bud, I'm used to games where 0.1 seconds is the difference between killing your enemy or losing the match. I know when a game is slow. |

Players who try to rush and treat the game like it's fast-paced get themselves spawn-camped, while the slower-paced, cautious ones who think their actions through avoid that problem. The game is rewarding to the tactical and patient players, and punishing to people who get overly caught-up in the idea that it's fast-paced and hectic.
Play the Transformers games - War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron. Or watch videos. THOSE are fast-paced multiplayer action, and even the fastest-paced Scout gameplay in DUST has a more measured and tactical approach than anything but the Soldier (WfC) and TItan (FoC) classes from those games.
Take a look at Brink. Even that game's HEAVIES are based around a more fast-paced playstyle than most Scouts in DUST.
If this is too fast for you, maybe you should try Civilisation or XCOM. It sounds like those are more your speed. Although there is a turn timer on by default in XCOM, so you'll probably want to play custom matches instead of ranked. |
