Why not have a stock market in dust. Corps could put their stocks up for sale and prices go up or down depending on how well they do. It would be risky because larger corps with large wallets could potentially buy out competitors. There would also be investors, who let corps borrow money and expect interest in a certain amount of time. |

not a bad idea; dividends could be paid based on a number of factors including corp battle wins, total kills, win/loss ratio etc? paid every week? And if a corp performs too poorly, stock price drops and no dividends are paid? seems to fit with the 'entrepreneurial' image CCP tries to promote for EVEO |

Good idea. Of course, corps would chose whether or not they want to pay dividends. |

Some stat like K/D doesn't make sense. |

No kdr, but overall kills, wins, isk per hour, or districts controlled could effect prices. |

What about a safe for corporation like those where we have our belongings. So that everyone could put stuff in it. It is like corporations' wallet. A little bit of communism. |

We already have shares in EVE, why do we need a separate system in Dust? |

very few corps (at least that you'd want stock in) would be willing to post stock it would make hostile ake overs far too easy. even owning 10%of a corp is enouh in many cases to force it into undesireable situations. please excuse spelling and other typos i'm typeing this on a vita. also quit bumpingvthis thread.

You'll be happy to know the mechanic for shares you described already exists.
The stocks just won't work because, unlike real world, nothing forces leaders of the corporation to do anything the shareholders want. Even if in some corp there would be so altruistic directors, no-one would ever believe they would do so. Trust about shares having some value or power is a matter of belief not happening in this game world.
And the part of selling a shere equals giving part of your control of corp aways is a fundamental part of share system.
