Even highsec casual level 4 ratters can measure their isk by the tens or hundreds of millions. If using a 100+k isk dropsuit sounds serious people in Eve run with billion isk pirate battleships that they never lose in highsec. |

Pay attention to patches. and what that guy said up there, buy low sell high. simple stuff, i doubt the DUST market is gunna be as complex as Eves. to be honest working the market is draining and youll end up hating the game.

Nah, it's only older players that break into billions. The averages for active accounts generally hover between 300 mil and 600.
That's in wallet balances though, as opposed to combined assets. If you play EVE for more than a year and you don't have at least one pimpmobile, you're doin it wrong. |

I had around 6 million squirreled away, and that was on 3 days of play, started fresh, going in blind. I'm sure someone who actually knew what they were doing could outpace that in an hour or two. |

If you don't have a ship worth at least 250mil by the end of your first year you may be terrible (then again there are cheaper hacs and faction pirate ships |

I did it wrong.
After a year my most expensive ship was unrigged drake. Bought 30 million tech 2 frigates in volume though, I liked the frigate play style. After 2 years I had a standard raven, barely used it. I had pirate modules worth hundreds of millions, but never flew a ship worth 1/2 that. I always resold them to buy few dozen fitted frigates to burn through in small gang pvp and null sec mission running. Pimp ship seemed like to many eggs in one basket to me. |

A free market lesson from someone who's worth a few hundred billion ISK; keep around liquid ISK and try to predict changes CCP does to the game that will cause an item to rise in value.
E.g. if you invest in militia BPO's when CCP changes their value to what they... oh... wait... that's already happened. |

Total Salvage & Loot + bountiesTime Played 1,782,740,000 ISK 22 Hours
Thats the ISK ive made since the 23 March up to today while flying missions this week, and i only played for 22 hours :p I keep a record each time after i unload my cargo vessel with the loot i made since ive last been to the space station.
Not too shabby while i have to fly a ship worth 2B ISK, i am not really sure how they are going to merge both economies if on one side you make billions and on the other side pocket change. |
