My friend and I were playing ambush and and we were trying to make 2 RDV's crash into each other. So my friend called in his LAV behind the CRU on that tiny staircase that leads into the building. A little while latter, we came back to the same place to find we couldn't go up the staircase, as we kept getting pushed off by an invisible barrier.
Trying to get around it, we realized that there was a "press O to enter." I couldn't resist the offer. I got in and was glitched under the map, into my friends LAV. My friend decided to join. We wiggled the LAV around on the very small spot of land under the staircase, until we eventually got out. We fell forever in the sky diving pose, then decided to activate the inertia dampener. That went on for a while and then stopped, and we went back to sky-diving, only now, our hands had that effect where the image stays wherever it goes, so it looks like ten layers under the main image. We fell a little longer and then died, which also did not register on the kill feed.
I respawned and got back into the LAV in which a was telleported to the LAV already falling through the map, and it wasn't before long that the same "layer effect" kicked in.
The match ended before I lost the LAV, but that was, without a doubt, the strangest match I have ever been in.
PS, I think its name is Biomass but I'm not 100% sure. Either way, it's the small map with the circular Gallente build in the bottom right corner, and the CRU right outside. |

I tried to swim in the green liquid pond surrounding the round structure you describe last night (GMT). I used the ladder to descend into it and was killed... Is it acid or what? |

I'm pretty sure you're talking about Ashland, the map with the circular Caldari building and the 3 flat top sky scrapers. This is the smaller map with a big green circular building. I hope that might of helped.
It might also be electrified acid. That would definitely be something I would not want to fall into |

The Map Feedback Forum is here:
https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=forum&c=235
It has a JPEG with Grid locations for each Named map with included Battle Type.
Include Region (NA/EU/where ever else), GMT (date/time) not yours, Grid Location from the JPEG, battle type of public, merc, Corp. Describe the problem and the area in enough detail that a third party (like a QA person or Map designer) can find it. If they cannot find it they cannot fix it. |
