Alrighty. Clearly people are bored or dislike the game enough (or are simply asinine enough to take pleasure from) rolling around team killing. Dudes in LAV's can team kill all day without repercussions. This has got to be fixed. I'd be fine with it if I could kill them with an AV nade or shoot them, but nope. Guy rammed my 200k ISK LAV, flipped it, then ran me over. This is stupid.
If this is the commercial release this is is one of the most pathetic commercial releases I've seen in a long time. Fix this piece of crap game before anyone goes calling it a commercial release. It's not simply the TK'ing without any tools with which to respond (aside from running around with an LAV trying to ram them back - which is both boring and counter productive to the team) -- it's that there are so many frikkin' issues, missing features, bugs, balance issues, and so on.
For me, this is becoming the last straw. This game is barely worth playing as is and this is becoming the straw that broke the camel's back. I accept that the reference to it as a commercial release could have been a GM error. Regardless, team killing needs to be fixed. This is completely unacceptable in something you are now accepting real money for and don't intend to reimburse for when the 'real' commercial release arrives.
Le sigh. I think I'll take a break for a week or so. If this is, in truth, the commercial release and there won't be a SP reset, I don't know that I'll come back. The fact that you HAVE to play each week or lose out on SP is tedious. Couple that with an already poor excuse for a game with only a fraction of the features and polish to be expected in a product worthy of the term commercial release and you see where I'm at.
I could care less if people come in and say good riddance or some such. If you think the game is great as is, then good for you. I, however, have become more and more disillusioned with this game. I want DUST to be great. The devs are either really, really taking their time with that, or determined to fail at achieving anything resembling that wished for greatness.
Commercial release indeed. |
