It might be because generally EVE players are involved in the beta, and they tend not to be 12 year old children playing M games without parental consent, but I've not noticed a lot of griefing. However, this doesn't mean it doesn't happen, and truth be told, there's a lot of room for it in DUST right now. Specifically I"m talking about vehicles in this thread. Last night I called in for my last Soma tank because the enemy was piling up in a choke point and I thought it would be a great bit of fun. As the tank came down, someone from my own team beat me to the tank, and promptly drove it directly into blistering forge gun fire. a quarter million down the drain, and no fun either. There really needs to be a lock on vehicles so that only the owner can enter the tank for the first 30 seconds, or until the owner "unlocks" the tank. Nothing is more un-fun than being the machine gunner in your own tank, and watching some idiot blithely drive it into direct AV fire.

If Dust only ever had corps vs other corps I'd not suggest this, but in the general game-play modes the likelyhood that someone on your own team is a 12 year old idiot is pretty damn high. And tbh, I'd never give the keys to my tank to everyone on my team, no matter how much I trusted them.

You should spawn your stuff away from thieves, or on top of them If you don't like thieves then when FW comes out get a corp and only do corp battles. That will do away with most trolling in game.
