well, even booze couldn't loosen the lips of CCP tonight. I got a smidge of info about Webs, it sounds like it might be an anti-Vehicle AND Anti-Personnel item. CCP refused to answer if it was a vehicle or dropsuit penalty, which leads me to suspect it may be both. Scouts be warned, Tankers be more Warned. ECM are coming for you, and tanker tears are the ripest for the picking. MMMMmmmmm....

Not sure what a web will have as use when playing infantry, best way to stop someone from moving too much is a stream of hot plasma to the face, against vehicles i can dig that piece of equipment.

Last fanfest they mentioned it would be used against vehicles, though I would love some anti-infantry webifiers, maybe as an under-barrel weapon attachment, or a sidearm. |

I had a theory about 'webs'
My idea ways make a tank turret that webs in
A) and aoe all around the tank
B) Directional webs, allowing flanking ect but still effecting an area
The idea of them higher tanked, tanks with a CRU and this web turret + its normal side turrets thats role was to support infantry in the middle of a site, not shooting from the side kind of like a heavy APC
But anyways thats my idea |

Ive been thinking what sort of weapon/equipment they will be, as will they be a point and shoot weapon like a repair tool type thing, or a webbing grenade, another option i thought of would be to have webbing bubbles like in EVE you would have to deploy a nanohive type thing with a massive done that webs everything inside it
but i think this last option would be easily destroyed |
