Still waiting on the announcement.
Caldari Prime is/was Caldari property, but the system belonged to the Gallente. |

President Foiritan signed a treaty allowing the Caldari to reoccupy Caldari Prime and call it sovereign State territory in exchange for the State not using the Shiigeru to nuke the biosphere from orbit.
Caldari Prime was never said to be in Caldari space, only the planet was State territory. This is because Caldari Prime is in Luminaire, the home system of the Gallente people.
Luminaire actually has four temperate worlds (Corufeu, Astrin, Gallente Prime, and Caldari Prime). Only Caldari Prime was ceded to the State.

It is also worth noting that when CONCORD did show up to find out what was happening the other day, the Caldari Navy fired on and destroyed a CONCORD Directive Enforcement Division battleship.
I don't imaging that DED was much too keen on helping the Caldari with anything after that. |

You celebrate an insignificant statistical victory(only ~7%) over a planet now completely inhabitable because of this stupid war? Not to mention that Gallente still control the space, which means you are cut off from all supplies and support in the heart of Gallente territory. They will simply just siege you until you wither away.
Congratulations, you gained nothing in the long run.
