They had a "featured fits" section where they showed off eitehr dev- or player-designed fittings - fairly basic and obvious in most cases, but usually good fittings, as opposed to the Starter Fits that we normally work with.
I think it'll be a section for pre-made loadouts like the "CQC" and "Raider" Scout - basically a decent-ish fitting full of pre-assigned gear that can't be removed (but, as usual, can be replaced). |

Idk, maybe popular fits sold as pre-fits, possibly at a discount, maybe just a section for suits like the Raider scout and other aurum suits.
I'd like to see a section for pre-fit suits for a few of reasons. It should help simplify fittings for new people, it'd simplify restocking since it can be controlled by suit rather than restocking extra modules when some suits share mods and ultimately if/when we get manufacturing I'd like to be able to build and sell pre-fit suits rather than having to stock several different items.
The only problem I foresee would be letting CCP fit suits, considering their track record. If it's based on popular fittings it wouldn't be too bad (I hope). |

Which would be problematic since it would feed back on itself. I expect if it's based on popularity we'd see some kind of oversight to ensure that more than just your standard omni-tank Type-II makes it in. |

Don't know if it will be AUR only stuff, but I was thinking it would be nice if CCP was looking at the data and realized, okay THIS CLASS is getting to popular, people really need to be aware of counter X. I'm wondering if the featured fits will show this.
My money is going to be on a FG heavy or a armor tanked laser dude. |

Oooohhhh....I re-read "player-designed fittings" and realised you didn't mean "player-designed dropsuits". But I wish you did, and I wish it was coz CCP are planning on it.
I want my own designer dropsuit. Now *that's* what I'd call a prototype. |
