The Robot Devil wrote:This whole entire thread is why active SP is bad. Everyone cries because they can't be in proto gear in a three days and then cry because there is a gap between new and old players. Then everyone cries that something is OP it gets changed and then it is not strong enough to kill proto and it gets a buff. The people cry that they don't get enough WP for every little thing they do and then they cry again when people get points for every little thing and can't be kill led in two shots. Good players are good and bad players are bad. No amount of gear, SP,WP, nerf, buff or anything else will every change this. I have been playing for almost a year now and I am a bad shot nothing will fix that and I suck it up and play or I suck it up and stop playing. The point to this diatribe is that all the cry babies got what they wanted and then got what they wanted and then cried and got it again. It is every person's fault who cried that this or that needs a buff, nerf, tweek, more points and whatever else it is they cry about. Yes there is imbalance but it is in the skill of the players and their ability to read, understand and apply the tools we have. Active SP is the problem and now that the gap between the young and the old or the good and the bad has grown and it is time to cry about something else. I am glad we are crying our way to a bland, boring everything is the same Call of Duty clone that only has 5 colors on the screen. QUIT CRYING. Good players are OP.
They should be nerfed.
If your K/D goes above 2:1 during the course of a match, you should automatically have the damage output of all your weapons cut in half, and if you ever have more than 100WP lead over the next-highest-scoring player in the match, you should stop earning WP until they catch up. Also, if you're healing too fast, your Repair Tool should develop and overheat function so you can only use it for 3 seconds at a time, and Nanohives should downgrade to Militia variants if more than 3 people use one in the space of 30 seconds, or just vanish if they're already the Militia version. Each spawn on an Uplink should lengthen the spawn timer by 2 seconds, even in Ambush. Flux Grenades should deal a fixed amount of shield damage split evenly among the targets caught in the blast, rather than dealing full damage to everything they hit.
This way, good players won't be as unfairly advantaged against people who suck at FPS games.
EDIT: Also, +1 |
