Who Are We?
A collection of gamers from various clans from games such as Resistance 2 & 3, Killzone 2 & 3, SOCOM series, Warhawk, and MAG, now joined under one flag as GÇ£The Sound of FreedomGÇ¥ in EVE online. Known as ruthless pirates in EVE, we are now taking that cutthroat mentality and transitioning to Dust514. We are a skilled, team oriented group of fighters that will take no prisoners and give no mercy to our opponents. Our motto, "You Pay, We Slay, We Conquer!"
We are comprised of 2 corps in Dust 514, The Sound of Freedom and Temujin.
The Sound of Freedom is our main corp who will be doing battles and accepting contracts for planetary conquest. When not doing planetary conquest we will be squading up for public matches with Temujin members as well as running training corp matches with them.
Temujin is our training corp. the main purpose of this corp is to find potential TSOF members from players that are new to Dust514 as well as give mercs that donGÇÖt quite meet our gear requirement a group of players to squad with so they can play with like-minded players instead of randoms while skilling up to get the required gear
Plans for Dust514
We are looking to be involved with planetary conquest and holding districts for ourselves. That being said our main focus will be as GÇ£true mercenariesGÇ¥. Our services will go out to the highest bidder to either attack or defend districts (as long as they donGÇÖt interfere with our own agenda).
Type of Merc We Want
We are currently looking to expand our roster to become a larger, well rounded fighting force. We are looking for skilled mercs to help us achieve our goals. Having exceptional GÇ£gun gameGÇ¥ is important, but more than that we are looking for mercs that are intelligent, trustworthy, and able to mesh well with our existing members. We need people that can not only follow the game plan set by the squad leaders, but are smart enough to improvise and adapt when plans go awry.
Recruiting Requirements
We have a few minimum requirements that all prospective mercs must meet before being considered for TSOF
1. You must have a microphone. Communication is essential for teamwork. without a mic you are as useful as a random bluedot.
2. You must be at least 21 years old. Most of our membership is older than 21 so topics discussed in squad are adult in nature.
3. If you have multiple Dust characters, they must all be members of TSOF or Temujin. Skill as a merc is a valuable commodity, but in the "dog eat dog" world of New Eden the most valuable is TRUST. Having members with alts in different corps can cause dissension and mistrust that can destroy a corp, not to mention can cause a huge conflict of interest. Clan hoppers need not apply.
4. If you have an EVE character(s), they must have no affiliation with any major alliance. We have taken a lot of time and effort to build what we have on the EVE side of New Eden. With our standing as pirates in EVE, this requirement is key in avoiding conflicts of interest and protecting our existing assets.
5. Your Dust character must have either advanced level dropsuit & weapon or advanced vehicle (HAV or Dropship). This is so that we can remain competitive when fighting other corps in battles. Anything less than advanced level gear will get shredded, which puts you and the team at a big disadvantage. Any applicants that do not meet this requirement will be placed in Temujin if they fit all other requirements.
6. You must have a thick skin and able to have FUN. We like to joke around and give each other crap when in squad or corp chat. If you are easily offended then this might not be the group for you.

Once an app is received a corp director will be contacting you in Dust514 and through PSN message to set up a dates and timse for a tryout. After the tryout, the directors will meet to discuss acceptance in to TSOF or placement in Temujin |

Great job to everyone for our victory against Royal Squad tonight in the PC battle! Big thanks to our friends from Eon and Rogue Spades that helped fill out our squads! Too bad everyone got stuck on the infinite Victory screen. It would have been interesting to see how we each fared stat wise.
