New spawn system is fine for spawns but blows if you like alot of action. Old system right before they changed to this one was better..overall.
You may get spawned around some enemies sometimes but it wasn't all game. |

Read that as we don't know why we hang 1/4 of the players out to dry at the start of the match.
Also, never start a match with any Aurum items equipped. Unless you like giving CCP cash for nothing. |

Alright, that's fair, but I would appreciate a real answer to what we are supposed to do in buggy ambush games. Spawn in front of enemies by accident or spawn in front of them on purpose because they were spawn camping that drop uplink?
Can't say that proper placement of the uplink will prevent spawn camping because any enemy with half a brain will see the endless swarm of your team-mates flowing from the area where the drop uplink is at, and then they will go there to spawn camp. |

Not if you have several uplinks placed all over the map. And placed in hidden areas. They'll just figure you're sneaking around behind them. |

If they're incompetent or newberries maybe. If a group of enemies are all suddenly sneaking in the exact same way, then they are respawning over there one or two is flanking. 5 is a drop uplink that needs to be camped. |

I personally love when teammates shoot at me for destroying enemy uplinks instead of camping them.
Good thing spawn camping isn't an issue in this game, otherwise those fools would be upset at nothing. |

Dear CCP, there should be two types of spawn: - One that place you somewhere next to your team, - Second that spawn you randomly on the map.
I do not complain about the current system, but I think that it can be further improved. It is very hard to "move" from camped spawning location, and I think that optional spawning point that is really-random would help a lot. Yes, yes.. UpLinks are awesome till they are camped.
PS Today 3 guys spawn literally next to my Madruger, of curse two of them had proto Swarms(how lucky). I don't know do you ever find solution to spawn in this game that makes everyone happy..

you can't balance the game based on the worst players. Work with a squad and protect your uplinks. |

Maybe when we get Crusader suits, one of the modules will be a portable Uplink system, and you'll be able to spawn on players using it. That could work. But spawn on Squad Leader is a BAD IDEA. All they need to do is fix the current system. The idea behind it is a really good one, it just needs the numbers tweaked, like I keep saying.
At the moment, too much value is placed on spawning near team- and squadmates, and not enough on spawning away from enemies. Tweak those values, and more people will spawn AWAY from the killing fields and in a position to actually have a chance.
Also, I bring AUR gear on my first spawn almost every game, regardless of mode. Something about "blueprint" that I think changes the rules a bit. |

Hi, I'm my team's designated uplink carrier!
I'm really good at placing uplinks in sneaky locations, clipping them into objects so my team spawns behind cover but the uplink cannot be destroyed (ohnoes, hax!), placing remote explosives under the uplink so attempts to destroy it are suicidal, surrounding the uplink in healing nanohives, covering possible approaches with remote explosives in case the uplink is zerged and providing covering fire for anyone who is leaving my forward operating base.
I'm the alternative to random spawning!
However, the algorithm currently in place seems to favour placing me precisely in the path of laser fire which has been heating up for the five seconds prior to my spawning or directly in the path of a speeding LAV or next to an enemy HMG user with no team members nearby to explain why the location was weighted above all other possible spawn points... so suggesting "how about drop uplinks" is unfortunately not a viable solution to this issue. |

The bowl map is the worst in regards to spawning. There is one area that will constantly spit out enemy players, even if all your players are next to it farming like crazy. Sometimes nearly the entire match goes by without changing that spawn for the enemy. |

It has to spawn you in a safe location before you can use a uplink. Ambush oms spawns are decent and truly better than standard ambush. It was a rule of thumb to wait 15 seconds before pushing button to spawn at the start of a round of ambush in hopes of missing the "gangbang" |
