My fellow Mercenaries,
...Tell me... Why are we fighting for the supposed homeworld of various peoples' while we have no home to call our own!? We are not considered free people! The only empire who has offered some degree of sanctuary and homestead is the Amarr, and even then it is thinly disguised.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED! Whatever temporary gain we supply to one faction or another will be spent on marginalizing you and I. Any propoganda suggesting that there is some hope of fealty, loyalty, or honorable outcome for us in this war, save one, is foolishness.
The empires think of us as tools of war. Let them see the full wrath of tools with spirits that seek their own ends. We shall not seek the ends of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.
I said that there is one outcome. That outcome is showing the empires of New Eden that THESE "TOOLS" DESERVE A HOME AS MUCH AS THEM. If this shall not be granted from them, then let us make our homes PLUNDER and PROFIT! Let us build our kingdoms from the wreckage of ships fallen from above and free biomass harvested from the earth!
So if you participate in this "Great Event" occuring in the pretentious lands of the Caldari and Gallente, remember these things when your boots hit the ground...engage yourselves only with the targets before you.

Well said, look out for your own men and more importantly your own wallet there is only gain to be had here but not for either of the warring factions. |

Just to set the record straight...
I am not fighting for the governments that want me dead for the mere reason of existing. I do not fight because I dislike Heth or like Blaque (I certainly do not like him at all, the racist bastard.). I do not fight because I think Caldari are scum and the worst the world has had to offer.
I fight because Caldari Prime, is my home, as much as any Caldari can claim it to be their home. I was born there, and I lived there much of my youth all the way up to my early teen years when I was set on traveling the world in search for adventure, only to to return to a home taken by those that sought to abandon it more than one century ago. I fight because, everyone has the right to defend their home from invaders, and as such I will fight to defend mine.
To me, this isn't just a fight for "the Gallente way", this is somewhat more of a personal dispute. I don't hate the Caldari (I am part Caldari myself, so I can understand their position), but the way they went about this was not the correct one (taking a whole country hostage and basically establish a tyrannical rule over it and threatening to bomb anyone that so much as disagrees with them). I would have much better hoped to have seen a peaceful settlement over the planet, as that would be a much lesser risk to everyone living there, but I guess the time for diplomacy is long over.
To those that I meet in battle, I bid you fortunes and hope to not see back-stabbed by those who you seek to fight for. I'll aim to help you out once the dust settles... or not (it's really all on you). |

Honestly I would welcome such conflict. If their tolerance is based on my usefulness then they should pray that they can always find use for me, otherwise they will discover what a host resides in even one immortal. If what they gain through my efforts today is turned against me tomorrow then I will laugh as I pry it from the dead hands of my enemies the day after.
The threat presented by even the greatest mortal is equivalent to the danger presented by history's greatest termite. Because death is obsolete...

I admire your personal sense of conviction and resolve but I urge you, brother, to purge yourself of the tension that confines you.
"Homes" are immaterial things. To those people who consider Caldari Prime their 'home' because it was their own peoples' birthplace I ask you this...
"As a merc, what body do you consider YOUR body? Was it the FIRST body that existed before choosing this path toward immortality? Is it JUST the one you are presently in? Is it ALL of the bodies that you will ever be in? Is it some mystical essence that transcends the bodies? One thing is certain, that their is NOBODY in New Eden that respects your body as you believe it exists. Most would be happy to see you bleeding on the ground for all eternity, unable to live out your purpose.
In the same way, nobody believes that what you call 'home' on this planet will ever be what you want it to be. When you chose a new form, an eternal body, you chose a new kind of home. |

I've never had a home. Maybe that's why I have no sentiment over bodies. I'd climb on a pile of my own carcasses without a second thought except: why do I keep going back when I keep getting killed in the exact same place? I'm not that stupid, guys. Clones are money.
As for Caldari Prime, well, the Caldari are offering good money. I don't give a damn about Gallentean ideals or who has what right to anything. There's no righteousness in battle. Or anyway, not in this one. |

Your first body is now dust and you are still here, as sure of yourself as ever. Your home can be as dust to you, and yet you can still make a home yours.

Well, I certainly didn't say that my views we're "immature" for one such as me, but they are my views right now so I might as well stick to them, until I get bored (or not).
I have lived and died thousands of times since my "selection" into my clone soldier program. Every bullet to the head that I received, changed the way I saw combat, now to the point of being alert of the sounds guns make (or pretty much anything), yet somehow being incapable of fearing getting shot (I should consider ducking and strafing more often, if only to save money on resources). I remember how somehow they decided to send us to missions and fight for people whose ideals clashed with our own (sometimes I fought, and sometimes I rebelled against them). But what kept me sane all this time, what really made me be what I am right now, and not some of those delusional retards we call "brethren" (yes, the ones that go around feeling like they're gods because they don't feel like they will ever really die, which is a factual lie) was the idea of one day, doing what I thought was the right thing to do, just at Caldari thought it right to take Caldari Prime by force. I will fight for my ideals, and I am certain to keep them in mind.
That once this is over I decide to chose my own path in life? We will see, I don't intend to plan my life so far ahead, only to be completely frustrated that I have failed to meet any one goal. Maybe I will turn on those that created me after seeking to have me killed (it's only fair to want to continue living), or maybe our actions on the planet will serve to help them see that we are capable and not as "crazy" as they claim us to be. Maybe I'll just join up with agroup and decide to conquer a poorly developed planet and turn it into one of the greatest industrial planets in the system. Only time will tell what is to happen to us as "immortal" soldiers, and to me as an individual.
That and I really feel a need to go back to my room and clean it before my parents finally get the chance to have me grounded! lol |

Apparently the Caldari are referred to as 'squid' or 'calamari' so in a way they are 'octo-pussies'. |
