If he isnt employed by CCP, he should be. Beyond what the DEVs, Wolf is the most honest about what is going on and what we should expect. |

From Twitter (Dust 514 - creative producer):
"Atli Mar GÇÅ@CCP_Praetorian 7 Feb @ReesNoturana equipment blog first, then dropsuits. The suits blog won't be ready until after Chinese New Year."
Still waiting on that equpment blog CCP...
Chel has a better chance of getting help from black mesa (that was a joke) than there being consistent dev blog releases Dust-CCP.

Also, internal testing and balances and changes to the current and new suits to try to reduce the amount of whining afterwards.
For example may see something similar along the lines of this on EVERY suit.
Gallente Scout 5% increased stamina per Gallente Scout level 5% decrease in signature size per Gallente Scout level
Amarr Heavy Type-1 Series 5% Ammo Capacity Per level 5% Armor HP per level
Amarr heavy Type-2 Series 5% Shield HP per Amarr Heavy Suit level 5% Mobility per Amarr Heavy Suit level
Then of course the 'tech 2' suits.
If you think prototypes are bad these specialist suits are a new nightmare for you. They lose some flexibility the standard suits have but the trade off for narrowminded focus on certain attributes are distinctive.
An Amarr Titan suit for example would have way more HP than any tech 1 heavy suit could manage.
There is also changes in equipment and newer equipment comming.
Such as a deployable shield recharger to be similar to the armor repair tool but has the counter drawbacks to fight against the advantages of shield's mobility so haha there. Few other new toys as well in equipment and weapons. |

In my opinion, especially on an amarr suit, increasing shields while decreasing armo is just a means to an end which in this case would be trading some durability for some mobility. It really connects when you realize that shields aren't more than armor on it. That said I expect the caldari suits yo be more shield focused in the future or in other words having the type 2 assault suit in the place of the type 1 |

These new and glorious racial suits that we've been promised for the last 4 months better look significantly different in build and detail than the rest of the suits that we currently have. If they're just colored variants of the suits we have right now with Different slots and Stats, I'll be incredibly ticked off. |

I'm fairly confident that we will see some significant artistic differences. EVE has well-established aesthetics and I expect that Dust will comply:
Gallente: Smooth and sexy (seriously, like indecently so) or lumpy potatoes.
Minmatar: Rough, functional, rusty, and solar-powered.
Amarr: Quasi-religious iconography (robes, etc.) and gold trim.
Caldari: Sterile, ice-cold, spartan.
I expect that the helmets will likely carry over in some way, so Amarr and Minmatar suits will have "eyes" and Gallenet and Caldari suits will still be faceless Cobra Commander masks. |

At this point the interal build is nothing like the current build there is no reason to test anything anymore, it'll all a waste when we will have double the weapons, double the tanks, and triple the dropsuits soon.
You want to talk about balance? Then CCP need to hurry up. |
