I bring up my Neocom and it has that orange dot next to my mail. Thinking I have a new mail i check and theres no new mail. I've read all my mail that i have received and the orange notification dot did not disappear. Also ive taken part in the event that happened yesterday with the state Proctate mercenary with suits. Anyway, what was the mail? |

I've had this bug for a few weeks now, every night I log in I have the phantom mail that's never there.
You can get rid of it once per session by sending yourself a mail, and reading it. But it will come back every time you log in. |

I didn't have this at the time of the Mercenary Contract but ill try that :) |

If you've received (or were sent) mail from an Eve character, you're also more likely to get the bug. |

Tried it and didn't work. Came back in the same session didn't go into a battle or anything |

The good news is the Devs have acknowledged the problem. The bad news is there is no time frame for the fix.
EVE Corps also cause the problem if I understand it correctly. Just ignore the Notification like one does a Spam folder. |

Well, it was worth a try. Works for me each time, but since you got it from the merc battles it could be a different beast altogether than what I have.
