I'm 3 weeks in an got my wp from 200 to 1450 per skirmish at highest I never capped on the daily but now my active boost is toast with 3 days of no use I used to average 8 or 10 k on sp per skirmish now that's under 1000 so did this week cap just ruin active boosters? I have a 30 day active boost from the merc pack if I max out every week in 4 days that's like 10 000 aur wasted no? |

Ya but the weekly cap once u bust gives 1sp per wp big hit to take with 2or3 days left gettin 1000 sp per skirmish instead of 10 k so u lose almost 100k sp once u cap |

But you still gaind 50% more sp than someone who never hsd the booster. Pluss you potentially can ern 1500 with the boostrr every game after you hit the cap |

with booster you still would get 50 % more so instead of 1000 SP / match you can gain 1500 per match. So i would say its not wasted. And as pegasis stated your weekly cap is raised to 285600 from 190400. |

Booster will give you the 50% for the SP all the time, so during normal SP gain, you get to the SP weekly cap with a 50% more than the usual, then it still give you 50% more, so for 1000WP you get 1500 SP.
I don't see how this is wasting SP.
Check the total SP you gain taht week vs what you would have without it. You are not wasting any days of the booster, since you got the cap, you can't get higher than that during the week other than farming those 1500SP from WP after the cap.
You can try to get the cap on thuesday night if you want, you'll still hit the cap (which is the same amount of SP) than if you would have hit it on wednesday.
By the way, wednesday, you'll be happy again getting 10,000Sp per skirmish. |

Aside from trying to figure out what that amount of garbage that pretends to be English is, this is what I believe the original post says:
"After playing the game for three weeks my average WP earnings have gone from 200WPto 1450WP per Skirmish match. Before, I had never reached the daily cap, but now my Active Booster feels useless after just three days. I used to average 8K-10K SP from a Skirmish match, but now that SP gain is under 1000 SP per match. So, did the current weekly SP cap just ruin my Active Booster? I have the 30-day Active Booster from the Merc Pack, and if I reach the cap in 4 days, that is like I've wasted 10,000 AUR on a booster."
Well, for one thing: you are completely wrong. If you were not previously reaching the daily skill cap and you are now hitting the weekly cap in 4 days, then you are playing more frequently. The previous daily SP cap was 27200 SP. The current weekly cap is 190400, simply 7 times the daily cap. Second: after you reached the daily cap, each match (regardless of Ambush or Skirmish) would reward you with 50 SP. Now, after you reach the SP cap you can earn up to 1000 SP. If you played the same number of matches you did before the weekly cap went into effect then each game you earn a whole lot more SP from the increased post-cap reward.
Then, you add on your Active Booster. Earning and extra 50% on 1000 SP is 500 SP, while earning an extra 50% on 50 SP is merely 25 SP. In the current system, your active booster is providing far more SP than it did durring the daily-cap system by rewarding you more after you reach the cap. |

If you play ambush after you hit the cap you can make better use of your time. Generally by the time you hit 1000 WP the match is practically over, while in skirmish you can get more WP but it is wasted by the 1000 SP cap. |

There was a full reset 1 week before open beta started.
Closed beta testers got 1 week head start on open beta testers with a DAILY CAP, so only the players who could log in every day and reach said cap had any "large" advantage over open beta testers, unless you have just started dust, the one week head start that the closed beta testers got as a thankyou from CCP for putting up with a the bugs and glut he's we had before now (there were so many more) is no longer an issue for players.
If you are infact just starting dust, welcome. This will be a lesson in patience for you. There is a weekly cap, and minimal sp to be gained after you reach it, it's enough for the true grinders to edge out a couple hundred thousand SP a week if they play away all day every day gaining 1000-1500 SP per match, but not so much to give no lifers a huge advantage over the rest of the group.
Trust us when we say its far better than it was when you only got 50 sp per match (without boosters) per game max once reaching the old cap. At least now you can spend those 1000-1500 SP on some low level skills that you have been neglecting while waiting for the weekly cap to reset on Wednesday. |

Hey thank you, I get it, at the time I was like like this sucks but it makes sense to grind lv 1 an 2 s once the cap bust an save the big gain for the higher levels until you pointed it out I was thinking early starters got to max high levels right away and the rest of us got popped with caps, but if they only got a week plus all the bugs that's not as bad as I was thinking. Cuz I thought the cap was to slow down the die hards but affectin new players in the process but it makes sence now thank you |

This thread is built on troll logic.
I typed out a bunch of calculations but then decided that explaining the situation wasn't going to be productive.
The extra 95200 SP you gained before the cap is the advantage you bought. |

Like I said I'm new and hardly claiming to understand how the system works now or how it used to or trying to irritate anyone I'm new to the game an new to forums and this is my first post or question in a forum ever. I just want to understand how it works and was just inquiring from experienced players so thanks for the info I get it |

I tend to agree with the OP... I bought a 3 day active booster for my extended weekend and hit the cap shortly thereafter. Yeah I get that I can still grind and get 1.5k rather than 1k sp per match but it seems like a lot of wasted cash. |

Well I just don't see the cap point, in a real war there's gonna be more experiencedsoldiers so weather there's a cap or not dudes will always be ahead the point of the booster is to get the most out of every time you play an their still adding more skills an suits an everything else to keep the die hards busy so if nobody can see that capping is a creative way to constantly make people buy boosters an spend aur to get the gear they don't have the sp to get cuz of the cap then your blind it's a scam plain an simple, there will always be a huge gap between players an new people are totally rationed on how quickly they get to prevent themselves from dying constantly an are force to aur up to stay alive, am I the only one that sees the con? |
