Yeah. Nothing's more annoying than having a Logistics constantly revive you from behind cover so that the enemy team can rack up the kills.
Implement faster options when going into bleed out - you can't select "call for help" or "suicide" until your entire body hits the ground so this can be easily abused by both the killer and the guy who's reviving you as far SP Farming.
Just gained five or six deaths from this. |

D-bag Logi's, the reason I always bleed out. I don't even care about my KDR, but getting farmed for WP? EFF that sh*t! |

Guy literally made no attempt to kill the enemy and they didn't fire at him whenever he tried to revive me, so I can only assume that they were friends or something - that or it's a really sick coincidence of two d-bags being d-bags. |

You can save yourself with a power slide if you are that close to cover.
Press L3 to sprint in the direction of cover the moment you start getting up and you will cover several meters as you stand. That should get you behind cover and leave the logi standing there.
Not enough people take advantage of that feature. |

I'm guilty of this but if I do, it's usually for a reason. Like last night when I did this, it was on an Ambush map with about 5 clones difference and really close victory; the sniper was not visible to me so shooting at him seemed pointless and I figured he'd run out of clip ammo soon enough and would create a window of time for the victim to move out of harm's way as soon as he re-loads. The possibility of getting enough WP for an OS was also a deciding factor. I was already at my skill cap so farming for SP was not.
Just letting you know that some people might do this without the two reasons you named (friends with the sniper, or SP farming). |

I and the people i play with refer to this as Ninja Needling, it sucks, its infuriating, but it happens. They need to implement it so you can only get the injection if you ask for it, currently done so by pressing square. This of course will heavily reduce the value of needles in pubs... A 5 to 10 second wait before any one could needle you would be another potential solution. |

Maybe the option to drag to cover would be kinda cool and encourage squads stay in better form . Heavy can drag faster then logi and assault at medium and scout drags slower. Just an idea |

I did this once, by accident, and had no idea what happened but it saved me. Now that I know the control, I'll be utilizing it more, and telling people about it in case they also don't know.
And on topic, as a logi, who has revived someone only to have them get killed immediately afterwards, I can tell you sorry, I'm not doing it to farm WP, I'm doing it in the hopes that the guys behind me have me adequately covered and that people won't just STAND THERE and get shot again.
That said, I do try to take out any enemies or at least use my best judgement on the safety of the revived teammate, and will generally only revive once before either trying getting rid of any reds myself,or just abandoning them.
I haven't come across this form of WP farming myself, if that's even what it is, but any "solutions" for it will probably have more negative consequences than positive ones.
A timer to prevent needling for a short duration? That's great, I'll stand around for 5-10 seconds and hope the people who killed him don't kill me.
A button to request it? It can be hard enough in a tough firefight trying to get to corpses to revive, let's make it even more frustrating by having a bunch of people who don't want to wreck their KDR wait until it is convenient for them and not for the guy running around trying to keep people alive and repped.
I get what you are saying, I do. If people are just reviving to get WP, that sucks and it's out of the spirit of the game and taking advantage of game mechanics for personal gain. But let's be reasonable, it's already frustrating enough as a logi when people slam the respawn button when we are right on top of them in completely safe situations, having people run away with 1hp armor while healing them, AND having the people who just stand there after revival and get killed again, we don't need another reason for logis to hate their teammates by implementing anything to make reviving more complicated.

Okay, Thunder Brain, let's clear up some confusion. Logi can only get the +60 once per revive cycle. You drop again, he gets nothing for the next revives. They Used to get more many moons and planets ago. There is probably a timer, CCP/Shanghai loves their timers, for getting points for another revive to prevent exploiting the feature. The 300 WP was just a figment of your ignorance.
Try running as a Logi and figure out how it works before making those wild Kitten guesses that are actually wrong.
The other thing to question is did you do something to really tick this particular Merc off previously? Like swearing at the Blue Berries on Team Speak for example.
If the two doing the d-bag routine on you were in the same corp then I think you have a very legitimate complaint. Nothing can be done about it, however. Just add them to your Contacts and hunt them down whenever they show up.
On the second revive just go into NeoCom and commit suicide. No points given to anyone and you can come back and stomp that shooter into the DUST beneath your feet. |

Just gained five or six deaths from this. Thereby, someone got 250 SP from kills and the Logi got 300 SP from the revives - where as I got.. Well. Irritated?
Was he a logi bro or just one of them Assault/Scout dudes who run around with a 30% injector without a repair tool? |

How about you only get the WP for revives once the merc has been revived for 5 or 10 seconds (or, say, once his shields reach 100% again.. would be faster for people who have the better needles, which kind of makes sense too). This may make some blues not just run out into the middle of a firefight to revive somebody if they know they'll just get killed immediately afterwords or at least they'll revive the person and then try to defend them a bit to keep them alive instead of just reviving him in front of a sniper and then running away. |

I had someone try doing this to me.
After the first revive-death, I mashed circle as I went down, and bled out before he could revive me again. I still hear the revive sound like he was activating it as I fell, but it didn't actually revive me.
You don't get the on-screen prompt immediately, but you DO get the option to bleed out. |

ive done this before, and im sorry. But the only reason I do it is because ive run halfway across the map, only to have the person bleed out AS IM INJECTING THEM. Do you know how frustrating that is. So when I rush to heal someone, sometimes im not paying attention to the sniper waiting behind that ridge. |

I'd come up with a witty response to this, but being as I've just noticed that STB joined up with Unclaimed. - well, that's just funny enough on it's own. |

As for the revive trapping, how about just copying BF3's system? Instead of only being able to be revived upon request, you can be revived at any time. However, upon revival you can either accept the revive, or choose to respawn? If you get killed after being revived but before accepting it you will respawn. If you get killed after accepting the revive than it is your own fault. Logibros get points when they revive you whether you accept it or not. Seems to work for BF3, and I am sure it could be applied to good effect here too. |
