This is for newcomers to Dust 514 and that dont know much about the game, it can also be for a better player who wants to get better at tanking. Hi i am XxTank BringerxX or Tank Gorillarape. Ever wonder what it would be like to totally **** everything with your tanks. I am going to show you how that is possible in a few different ways.
If you are just starting in Dust 514 you get a certain amount of skill points at the beginning of your new account, about 360,000 sp if i am correct.
1. You want to use the skill points that you have or get and use them for getting vehical modules if you get the right modules you can get even a militia tank to do alot of damage in a game. If you wish to be a shield tank you want to get shield repairers, extenders so on. If you want to get an armor tank go into armor but i pefer a shield tank because it is faster than the armor tanks.
2. You then want to get your first 80GJ turrent it is alot better than the militia turrent and it is less pg and cpu.
3. Next you either want to go for your gunnlogi or madrugar just because it will be hard to fit any better turrents on it.
4. Once you get your gunnlogi or madrugar you want to get a better turrent or use some skill points to get better shields and armor, which would be in the area by Circuitry which is one of them.
5. Then you want to go for your proto tanks.
Fitting for Militia Sica Tank
-High Power Modules Heavy Converse Shield Booster Surge Shield Reinforcement or you can get the passive Shield Reinforcers Heavy Supplemental Shield Extender
-Low Power Modules 2 of the PG modifiers
-Turrents If you have the first turrent use that if militia use that pefer 80GJ Blaster Small turrents if you have the 20GJ Scattered Neutron Blasters use them if not improvise
Cost of tank------- 415,000 ISK
Fitting for Standard Gunnlogi
-High Power Modules 1 Heavy Converse Shield Booster 2 Surge Shield Reinforcements, or if you have the passive ones use them 1 Heavy Shield Extender 1 Light Shield Extender
-Low Power Modules 2 PG modifiers
-Turrents Best ones you have the higher the better
Cost of tank------- 564 ISK
Sniping Tank for Skirmish
Every Module is the same as the Gunnlogi or Sica tank except for the Railgun again the better the Railgun the better. And if you want to you can use the Soma and put some damage modifiers on it.
If you want me to help with some other things on Dust 514 just reply to this and i will do research on it just for you. |

I perfer damage resisters (active and pasive for the advanced shield tank) but, yah basically that's it. The hard part is learning to drive the maps and exactly how much punishment your tank can and cannot take (takes time and money and clones). But stick with it and eventually you'll get the hang of it. |

Why is this posted under General Discussions? It would be much better under Training Ground even with the idiotic Rookie pre-qualifier.
Note that this area is not actually for Generals per se YOUR NAME HERE. Just discussions in general not about you being all General like. |

And anyone with even the slightest of battle experience would be intimately familiar with the indispensable nature of resistance modules. |
