FYI I don't hate the game. I just like the zero punctuation reviews because they are hilarious lol.
Sure they are truthful and the truth can hurt, but at least it's something we can all laugh at and then go back to playing dust. |

He's right though, and in a way, a lot of what he fund wrong with the game they have done the best they could to fix a lot of his issues. But the fact that it's a game for x4 lovers would think the slow pace makes the game awesome *like me* he is right, it is mostly a game for those kinds of players.
Thankfully there are a lot of them apparently.
anyways, point is, eve online is a much better game than when it was reviewed and dust is nothing like eve when it comes to core gameplay. The pace is different but in the same universe of gaming it's an interesting game for sure |

Not exactly true. He likes WoW like a drug. But he misslikes FPS multiplayer and avoids it like the plague, if the plague were something that could be avoided.
Check out all of his reviews of any and all FPS titles as well. Good times. Multi player? As if...

This thread is awesome.
I'm really, REALLY looking forward to his review (if he does one) of DUST, but not because I expect it to be representative of the game. At all. Not even slightly.
The original Assassin's Creed was - and still is - one of my favourite games. The ZP review of it was brilliant. It mostly bypasses the many, many reasons why the game was awesome (and why the series has gradually disappointed more with each release), but it's still great fun to watch.
You don't have to dislike a game to enjoy hearing someone rant about their less-positive experiences with it. |
