Whether it be skills or a module, it'd be great to have something equipped onto my LAV or tank should I be unlucky enough to get caught away from it or killed. Even looking ahead, when PC starts, being able to use such a thing on installations during battles. It's just an idea but I wouldn;t be able to put any numbers or calculations on it. |

X-eon,
I think that would add levels of complexity to the game. The anti-hack stuff could be the way that hacking was in Mass Effect 2 where you had to perform little puzzles. I think that if this was allowed though, the anti-hack module would defeat the ability to team hack. Either that, or there would have to be a type of code runner class that is designed to specifically do electronic warfare. That sounds more like an EVE thing than a Dust thing. just my thoughts though. |

well it would be nice if you could set anti-hacking software on nodes to slow down the process and what not to make it harder to hack, would give players a reason to up their hacking skills.
not sure how much it would be used but it would be an interesting option |

The idea was to slow and deter solo hackers, that way it's a team approach, and give friendlies time to get back to the installation/vehicle or null cannon before they lose it and the enemy causes some trouble. Maybe each skill level increases the hack time by a few seconds and the module makes it so a second hacker is required to even take the objective or installation. |

Sounds reasonable - only thing I would say on the idea about needing two hackers - if the person trying to hack has a high enough skill, they should be able to single-handedly hack it. |

so no to that particular part of the idea or would that be a work around based on skill level? |

How is this different from the oft requested Locking of Vehicle to Owner/Pilot/Driver?
That has been on Heavy Repeat for sometime with no response as yet. |

This isn't in response to friendly lockout, I suggested it as a counter to the codebreaker module and hacking skill |
