Perhaps it will have a wider beam of instant death? or perhaps the officers laser rifle will be more of a AV weapon that will eat into LAV's and tanks alike ripping their shields and armor to pieces 0o.

I see Laser users crouch all the time in the open field... its 100% accurate even while moving. I so love establishing dominance over them though :)

Hows about workin on a sniper rife thats one shot one kill if its a torso hit the way they are indended to be?

As some sniper rifles can do that against lower hp mercs if the sniper is specced right..

As some sniper rifles can do that against lower hp mercs if the sniper is specced right.. I completely agree with you, but if its a heart or gut shot, unless you are superman, it should be insta-kill. Btw that 31-1 didnt include 2 lav destroyed. The laser rifle isnt AV right? Less than 10sec of burn on both, total OP imho

I doubt we need our guts as our Clones probably don't need them to live. Instant triage thanks to bio-medical air bags in our suits. As for hearts, even real life Kevlar vests have steel plating over the chest and back. The future metals could probably keep up with taking one sniper shot. And Patoman, I'm pretty sure everyone on this thread knows that. We just want to see what a proto laser design is like so we can dream and save our pennies to buy them once a market/trade system shows up.
