Yes... it does... but its the same as hitting a bull with a pool noodle...
Amusing but useless and will probably get you killed. Shoot tanks and people with the rail gun... not MCCs or anyonebwho plays on you lr team will hate you... for being useless. |

When you aim at something, it shows you the efficiency rating of your weapon against said object or person.
Every weapon in the game (except null cannons) has 0% efficiency against the MCC. |

I think the TACNET bugs up with the 0% eff. ratio , you will deal normal damage to the MCC but it doesn't matter , the MCC has around 5000000 hp. |

Shooting at it will not help your team, at most it only draws enemy attention to you. Unless you have some sort of clever plan that involves getting murdered by people who notice you are too busy shooting at the sky to defend yourself, you probably should not try this.
If you're a small turret gunner for a Dropship, HAV, or LAV, the only thing you will accomplish shooting at the MCC is making the driver/pilot do this |

This sums up how I feel about blue dots that follow me when I'm in my scout suit trying to flank an enemy group.
Having a scan profile of 22.5 is useless when three guys flowing you have 45-50s.
Or when they just stand there trying to hack a hacked objective... |
