Ok so honestly i am not that upset about this i just am wondering if anyone else has seen this and if its a bug that was in the last hot fix thing yesterday
So i was in a match and my team was generally kicking the other teams butts with a pretty big clone lead, and we held 2 of the 3 objectives for most of the game. From the begining we had all of them, lost one in the middle and they took the other 2 a few times but not for long. So based off of this you might assume we would win however somehow our MCC was taking more damage than theirs even though we held more points and our MCC blew up.
Now, I'm not sure if this is a bug or if they did something weird to the game, or maybe the few times they took back the canons put them over us, but i'd like some information/opinions if anyone has it.

I see this happen all the time. There never seems to be any rhyme or reason to it. You can be holding the majority of the objectives for 10 minutes and only get ahead a single tick, then the red dots get the majority and 1 minute later your down 4 or 5 ticks. |

I wonder if having a couple tanks with railguns and damage mods parked in the redzone could actually do noticeable damage to an MCC throughout the course of a game. |

It seems that whoever hold the most points when the MCC takes hull damage wins. Shield damage is slower then hull damage. |

I think that when we face off on each other, we are not equal. I wonder if CCP does something to these matches, like increase the damage one MCC can do vs the other, increase damage modifiers for ground forces, etc, to reflect a difference in ground strength. |

I noticed this too, now it makes sense. You feel like you are dominating the match and then you look up and it's a tie. I also agree the different MCC types will be interesting. |

When in a match and you are trading the null cannons back and forth keep in mind, that when the cannon is in switch it will hit what the same MCC until the virus has been installed. A lot of time this will get people. They think well we had the cannon longer but, did the cannon fire when it was your color or did you just get unlucky and it fire right before your install and right after your opponents.
I know most people are saying duh right now. But believe me it will get you. |
