Even at slow speed driving over the concrete pad (best guess) when the Supply Depot is like in the current JPEG the LAV will launch itself into the air about 1.5 meters. I wasn't able to drive the LAV over the lip regardless of the speed.
This is a problem and is either yet another map/mesh inconsistency or it might actually tie to the odd behavior of the LAVs over any rough terrain. Since this is a really minor lip ( < 4" ) it should not even be noticeable. If you can fix this with the LAV physics/3D-model you would probably make a significant improvement in the handling of the LAV.
Just think of the reduction in the river of complaints you get regarding the horrid handling of the LAV. That would suggest this might be a high priority bug.
Grid location is at the line D/E a little more than half way in 5. The Supply Depot was on my left and as you come to it there is an obvious concrete pad. The lip of that pad is what launches the LAV.
2200 GMT, Mar 15, 2013, public match, North America although the Squad Leader is from England. |

We have been addressing these kinds of issues. It has to do with the collision on the cement / or base material and how the terrain meets up / intersects with it. |

I've been wondering. I've noticed that there seems to be different collision properties on the map. Can you confirm that this is the case and maybe give insight at the role and function of these different properties? |
