I would really like to be able to park my vehicle and come back to it a few minutes later. These vehicles are not cheap enough to be blown up by an abandonment timer. I did not abandon my vehicle, I parked it in a strategic area to retrieve after my 'on foot' mission was accomplished. If I abandon my vehicle and then later deploy another vehicle, I have no problem with my first vehicle being destroyed to make room for my new one I called in as it was my choice to destroy my vehicle. No timers will also allow for setting up traps and creating barricades.

1+ as for the creating barricades woth vehicles is the part I'm not for as much as there may be a way to create those in a way moee natural to the game |

CCP can't just remove the timer though. What if I call in 5 LAV's and then just leave them all in some hidden spot preventing my team from spawning more things? |

Saw that in action just the other day. Two different matches, one Doof was parallel parking LAVs at C in Manus Peak. Fine, needed a LAV and drove off with one. I think the goal was jumping the parked ones.
Second time was Manus Peak (Again!) and the parking lot had moved to the hill by the MCC closest to C. This time I took the time to email and mention that they were giving +40 to the Reds every time one was blown up. And no, the Merc was not a member of the Opposition. Just dumb, I would suspect. Or twelve. |

If you try calling in more than 1 vehicle, the current vehicle is destroyed to make room for your new request. pretty simple if you ask me.

how about Militia vehicles have an abandonment timer where as vehicles you need to skill into to use do not... will certainly fix the LAV pile up situation |
