The even messed up the iron sights on Mass driver, yet somehow HMG sights got better.
hmmm i think the former heavy only tritan industries was spending a lot of time in IRC that month. |

Here's a very good question...
CCP... You said at some point you would put in a weapons modification system, scopes would be included in that. (Your marketing dude didnt know shiat about it of course).
Will this new modification system be in the next build?
If not... You're basically saying we get to live we these sorry asss iron sights for another year? (3-6 month builds).
Bring back the cameras, they were a better place holder and all the new people suck with iron sights.

10% of ironsight request came from people that wanted them. The other 90% just wanted to nerf good AR players.
Now no one is happy except CCCP because we are paying to play a beta |

CCP just needs to accept that this playerbase is dumber then a bag of bricks. This game is full of smart, hardcore, spaceship nerds but the majority of the playerbase can't aim and in general doesn't know **** about fps. No matter how many times they nerf strafe speed and caters to KBM players this playerbase will still be stupider then mag blue dots. |

Honestly, the only thing I'd say is that I'd like either rifle sights as default on ARs (because right now they use shotgun sights), or that the default sight be red-dot sights like on the Scrambler rifle. I never saw a point in implementing ironsights on weapons built in the tech level that New Eden has, and hipfiring is actually a viable option in this game unlike in others in any case.
You all might recall the rather massive threads proclaiming that camera scopes were "lame and immersion breaking" that were posted in by not just a lot of random players, but some of the "pillars of our community"? So now everyone wants to ***** at CCP about implementing something a ton of people asked for. |
