I must confess I may have inadvertantly nudged him with my LAV into an open area then sped off. And to be fair it was only because I ran to give him ammo because he was asking for some and when I put my nanohive down he laughed said he was lying and put out his own. Alas I could not help myself the waste of a nanohive made the battlefield quite untidy and I saw red.

Peace B Ahhhh BASSMEANT .... i always enjoy responding to your intelligent comments..... A logi with a 1.50 KDR = Very good logi. A heavy with a 1.50 KDR = Very bad heavy. A logi with very good WP, and W/L ratio = Amazing logi. A heavy with a very good KDR, and a decent W/L ratio = Amazing Heavy. So YES stats are important, specially when it comes to recruiting people for you corp.

I don't want me and mine losing ISK on a contract if we can help it, but one's contribution to victory is the measure of a good player and a good corp. KD/R doesn't mean squat. Too many team-oriented ways to play this game that aren't well represented by KD/R.

Shenanigans! With the new spawn system, a field logi in ambush is totally viable. This coming from 2.00KDR, 2.50ish W/L, and like 240WP/D... But none of those numbers mean jack squat. I put them out to make that point. There are so many more people who are better at so many different things and I feel I'm average at best... on a good day... with the sun at my back and the wind blowing juuuuust right. Really, it all comes down to a question of what your goals are. If you're trying to be Rambo and that's your way of having fun then a high KDR might mean something to you. If you care about recognition on a wider scale maybe W/L means more. If you're looking to get into specific corps maybe they care about WP/D. In the end, they're just numbers that mean little to anyone but yourself. You're unlikely to find anyone with a W/L R of over 3 or 4 with a poor K/D R.

The people with the most outrageous KDR probably stopped playing once they got that stat.

But it is obvious to point out that there is too many little boys involved in padding there K/D by being perched most of the time using the building structure collision fualts to their advantage. now their is too many spawn faults and collision fualts to say the K/D in Dust 514 is accurate. but kudos to the guy who can sit perched for twenty minutes shooting from a distance. I can only hope that people understand that unless you win the game it is meaningless.
