Yeah you have a terribad way of ALWAYS post your stuff when I'm omw home - but then I'm starting to think that is a counter to all my 'first'... you studied my posting pattern and realized the best time to post your blogs in order to deny me the first's so you could get them yourselves.

However, SoonGäó is getting pretty darn old for many of the bitter beta vets obviously. Although keeping Dust in beta for an eternity time is useful insofar as keeping the gaming commentariat fairly quiet as its bad sport to take the one wood out on a beta there's been enough said to know that a fast majority are very much keeping their powder dry. CCP can only wheel scribes into contrived demos of orbital bombardment or equivalent so many times before something gives. One would hope that CCP would start to be fairly open about delivering X by round about Y at this stage of proceedings. Much more of the "blue sky" on game interconnectivity, explaining the obvious like why sound is useful or worse "we have lists" and you can assume there are major issues. And even there are dev blogs every day from here on in until fanfest it's barely substantial without delivery - or even a demonstrative commitment to do so.

I saw a commercial for Defiance. The graphics look sickly cartoonish. I had thought about trying the game until I saw how ridiculous it looks. More to CCP than anyone, if Destiny is half as cool as they are making it seem (without even really showing off gameplay) you guys and gals REALLY need to have Dust up and running with a release version before them or Bungie with their prior rep and the backing of the evil Activision/Blizzard is going to eat your lunch, and I really don't want that to happen. In fact if you don't have if going by E3 we're in trouble because you just know Bungie is going to be showing off big time then. The hype for Dust has been going too long, its running out of steam. Gaming sites and publications are going to quit saying "We can't wait to see how CCP merges a console FPS with a PC spaceships MMO" and are instead going to write the attempt off as a failure and focus on the shiny MMO like FPS made by their darling Bungie and backed by a multimillion dollar marketing campaign that will make the CoD advertising campaigns look like cheap bus stop billboards in comparison. While I'll play Destiny too, I really want this game to be successful and my home and that a side diversion, but I really think you need to beat them to the punch as they say.
