Here's my latest brain child:
Instead of paying for better gear with aurum, we could pay for access to special maps - even a special part of the game! Wormhole space fights could be unlocked by spending AUR on a nice trip to WH space. The planets there would be like nullsec in terms of resources. Corporations could claim sov in WH planets and rake in the ISK.
Here's the catch: attackers would be formed from random AUR explorers like in highsec fight. The threat would be constant and untargeted, so the corp holding WH planets should have district defense on the ready constantly.
So, in addition to p2w, we could pay for an elite club membership. Any devs biting? |

You don't want content division, meaning if one player has spent the Aurum for this content and another didn't, this would split the player base. So Aurum Levels/Maps shouldn't be available. I know this sounds like I'm talking about any Aurum content, I mean levels that would be Aur exclusive and guns that put players in a clear advantage.
They need to make money so equal aurum weapons is perfectly fine for that those that can't spend the time building ISK. Along with skins and pretty things, lol.
BUT BUT BUT I like the idea of wormhole space, fighting on stations or whatever there might be in wormhole space.
So, yes to Wormhole Space Planetary Fights or Station Fights. But no to making it available to only those who spend Aurum.
and sadly I also sense a bit of Trolling.
BUT go with the wormhole thing and this game isn't pay to win. There are kick ass suits/weapons that are ISK that can match the Aur suits/weapons. |
