love that the game is free and you can upgrade your gaming experience if you wish to do so
love that you can't team stack, (like place all good players on 1 team in pub matches)
love how simple the game-play is once you deploy in battle
love the way the DEV's interact with the community
love the balance between all the weapons and gear and fitting system, it blends in seamlessly and offers a **** ton of variety!
love the market and economy aspect of the shooter
love how fresh it feels

I like the fittings and how diverse they can be from player to player. Also I like the player interaction. In no other game can i sit around with the game on an interact with random players like in Dust. I like talking to randoms in local about BS or just sitting in corp chat and talking with my corpmates. I agree with the potential comments, in my eyes this game is just getting better and better. Remember when you couldn't run up the stairs at A without freezing? Honestly I can't really play any other FPS's now. Call of Duty just seems boring and pointless honestly.

I like joining friends in their Dropship while they're trying (and failing) to learn the basics of piloting
I like leaping out a moment before we "land" and turn into a fireball, but not engaging my Inertia Dampener in time and squishing into a nearby enemy who also dies.
I like watching my girflriend lose control of her LAV in a rare mistake, and fly front-first into the front of a friendly tank, destroying her LAV and herself, and killing the front turret gunner (who was a squad- and corpmate running an expensive fitting and very upset with her for it) |

It has been said several times already, but the promise of what it could be, not what it is now. A cleaned up version of what was shown working in 2009, but on this engine, would've been a solid start.
Having said that, CCP has until the week after Fan Fest to prove my loyalty over the last year and every other year since 2007 was worth while. That, or I am jumping ship and taking my 68 dollars a month to CCP for EVE and Dust some place else. (28 for two EVE accounts and 40 for 2 Merc Pack 30 day boosters and some AUR, one for each account.)
Please CCP, it is in your best interest to at a minimum, lift up the skirt and vindicate not just mine, but every one else's dedication. For example of that just refer to the posts above, you have a good community that wants what only you can offer, and promised. Not the half assed BF knock off we are playing right now. Said good community's patience is wearing thin. So much so, I know i am no the first to have made the aforementioned claim to jump ship. |
