It would be really helpful to have some sort of unique identify on the HUD display. When I am sniping and I see a Red sneaking up behind a Green (or see a red dot coming up behind a green dot on the radar) I will call a warning, but I usually donGÇÖt know who I should be directing the warning to.
At long range you canGÇÖt include names as it would be too bulky and cluttered. However, you could assign each squad member a number based on their position in the squad list and show the number on the HUD display for squad members. Your own number should be shown in the corner of the screen somewhere for personal reference. Then If I see a Red sneaking up on #3 I can call out GÇ£Green 3, you got a Red on your 5 oGÇÖclock.GÇ¥ Or I can look at he squad list before the match starts and memorize which number each person has been assigned so I can call warnings by name.
Numbers for the enemy team would be nice too. Assign them numbers based on the order they joined the battle. If someone leaves and a new guy joins just continue to increment the number. So then you have a scenario where you are calling out: GÇ£Green 3, Red 7 is coming around the boxes on your 5 oGÇÖclock. He had a Laser Riffle last time I saw him.GÇ¥ |

I was thinking of something similar so that each squad was assigned a letter (Squad A, Squad B, etc.) then each player would be assigned a number in the squad. That way it would work for people not in you squad as well. I'm not sure about letting a player see how the reds are numbered, as I don't really think that it matters too much who they are, only that they are close and trying to kill you. |

Granted Red numbers are not as important, but would still be useful to identify:
- Are you seeing the same Red the guy on coms it talking about? - Identifying and keeping track of specific weapon types. You know 4 and 6 are Heavies, stay away from them. You know 7 has been using a Laser, try to flank and get close in. - Your squad has spawned in/switched to AV fits. Which tank are you going after first. Oh yeah, GÇ£Red Tanker 10". - GÇ£Green 3, when I say GÇÿNowGÇÖ we both hit Red 9. Then we switch to the other Heavy.GÇ¥ - GÇ£Red 13 is really Good! And he has Proto gear. Stay clear of that dude!GÇ¥ |

Yes, this is an excellent idea. Hope to see it implemented one day. |

When the MCC Commander role is added, this would be a great function for him. Assigning numbers to enemy mercs, at least until the numbered merc dies. However, for tank-hunting, your squad leader can mark the tank with a kill order, then there shouldn't be any confusion. |
