So last night we were in a corp match against another corp. We had two 4 man squads and I was running droplinks. I got 2 placed at points where I wanted them. During the match the other squad was not able to see my droplinks. Only members of my squad were able to see the droplinks. That's absolute ******* BS!
Droplinks, Rep tools, Nanite injectors and nanohives are universal equipment. If I can revive every ******* tom, **** and harry with my nanite injector, rep every frigging scout to heavy with my rep tools and supply ammo to every clown who cant use a ******* gun I see no reason why my team cant spawn on my ******* droplink.
Please make droplinks universal or make the rest of this **** squad only. |

And you noticed this just now? It's been like that forever.
There's talk of Hacked Drop Uplinks (the ones that come with merc-pack) that work for the whole team but I'm still not sure is it so. |

Nope doesn't work. I run only hacked droplinks. |

Actually I think this would be good for the game. Drop uplinks are way overpowered with the whole team being able to skip midfield; having them squad based would be a good balance to the most overpowered item in game.
Squad size can be discussed, though. |

Apparently its by design. However in pubs if you have no squad anyone can spawn on your droplinks. |

If that's the case I say injectors, reppers and nanohives should be used only for my squad. Why should someone else use it? Either or bro.
Also droplinks are an essential part of battle tactics. the whole team should be able to use it. The workaround is simple. Have one person not in the squad and drop uplinks. The whole team can then spawn on it. That's BS. |

There was a recent update where this was "fixed"
Because some Uplinks which WEREN'T meant to work like this (including the Militia Blueprint versions) were allowing everyone to spawn there. There's now supposedly a type (probably the Merc Pack ones, as mentioned) which can be used by anyone on the team, but most are limited to Squad only. |

is there a difference between ambush and skirmish?
I thought whole team could spawn on Uplinks in Ambush but skirmish was squad based...

I saw one logi with 0/0 kd and 1400 wp ... only from DL... it is posible that he got it from his squad only?

Squad only uplinks make perfect sense, provided they aren't the only option and the two types are clearly labelled. There will definitely be times that you don't want a blueberry wasting one of your uplink's charges. Most often, however, you will want everyone to have access.
Has anyone managed to test the theory that you can spawn on any blue uplink, provided you walked near it in the match previously, causing it to appear on your radar?
Also, lol @ Archon learning things about the game after a rare descent from the MCC.

Haha very funny! The last time Red Star kicked your team's ass I remember those very famous words from you guys;- "Is this serious?". And the answer to your question is;- Yes 
As far as me chilling out in the MCC is concerned;- its way better than playing with a bunch-o-randoms. I don't rage anymore. I managed to get a whole lotta stuff done. My pool is all fixed and ready. All good stuff while I get my SP. Lately I have been havin a lot of company too. We sit around in the MCC, light a campfire, roast some smores and tell scary stories.
And the best part all of this is I get to do corp battles where I can put my foot in the mouth of wise ass chumps |

There are Uplinks which allow people outside of your squad to spawn on them.
Also, you can be NOT in a squad, and EVERYONE except the people assigned to a squad will be able to spawn at your Uplinks.
If there's only a single 4-man squad in a full team, that means you have 12 people using your uplinks. |

I said corp battle dumdum. Read the very first line in the post. Anywho I DILLIGAF if blueberries use my droplinks when I decided to play a pub match. I put it there not for me to use but for my TEAM to use. Not that I need the extra 25 SP but that's what droplinks are supposed to be for. |
