Ok, well I have been REALLY wanting to start into explosives. I tried them out (Logi suit w/ prox and remote) but I just could not get the hang of them. I played for about 30 minutes and the only kills I managed were from my AR . How do you explosives people do it! I couldn't grasp the idea of sitting in a choke point waiting for people to pass by. I tried waiting near B on one of the maps and I sat there for about 5 minutes before someone sniped my explosive...then me. Anyway, anyone have any tips? |

You don't sit at the objective with the explosives, you run off and do other things then when someone starts to hack it, the objective marker will flash then you detonate them.
Another good way is to take a swarm launcher and remote explosives, and shoot a HAV from behind them after placing explosives there as well. Their instinct is to retreat back and they will run over the explosives and then you detonate them. Need a good solid 4 for your Average Gunloggi but I've used 2 on a militia before.
You can also put them on bridges and roads and hang around the vicinity. Especially when the area becomes a conflict of interest and major firefights break out, then they'll be very nice in cutting off the enemy.
When you place them around objectives, don't put them right in the open, that's how you lose them. Tuck them somewhere behind an object, out of sight.
Proxy explosives IMO are a waste of time because they make beeping noises that give them away. |

I like setting up proxy explosives on either side of an LAV and waiting for someone to hack it.
Remote explosives involve a lot of moving behind cover to bait enemies into following you or leaving them at objectives and moving to somewhere you have oversight. |

I get a few kills with proxi's, just put a few where LAV's are likely to travel and move on. Remotes on objectives can be effective, i make sure to check before i take one tho.
If your going explosives, a logi with mass driver, flux grenades, mines, remotes, and a nano hive... proper little pyro there lol |

Iv been experamenting with remote explosives with the shottgun scout or ranger as your man bojo would describe . Iv found its almost free kills when you plant the explosives on and arround an objective 1 right on the consol and 5 round the objecrive roughky 2 too 3 meters arround . Once planted take the hack then run and hide in the hills . You might even get a couple snipers while your waiting on your next victims . Once they start the hack then you simply blow them strait back to their mcc and if your lucky the explosives round the objective will take out or at least startle whats left of their squad letting you close in for the shotgun kills. Happy hunting |
