Anyway, I hope not. I know you mentioned the game would be runned on both for a while, but now it seems to me that it would make more sense to just release on PS4, So starting to wonder, if that is the plan you are not telling the fans...

Your hypothesis has some merit though and it feels like the game will only ever be runned as a beta on the PS3. If they are already working on a PS4 version it would be a bit of an insult - i.e. get it done.

Defiance for example, coming in April. Also other MMO companies have show interest in the PS4," Planetsides 2" for example.... Is a open market right NOW for CCP to exploit ....why wait for other companies to do it before them ? None logic annoys me.

Admittedly it's hard to stay patient. But the rumours surrounding new visuals and a greater build are far stronger than just fan driven speculation this time around. And Eve's 10 year anniversary is the lucky number, like the way Bungie use the number 7. Here's hoping anyhow.

This is mainly because the PS is a typically expensive piece of hardware, has a tendency to have problems during the first year of release (like the Xbox and Wii), and users generally tend to wait until their current hardware quits so they can buy the new PS. Xbox and Wii users are no different as well. I have a friend who still owns the limited edition Halo Xbox 360 (the old version without the sharp angles) and it still runs ok even though it suffered two red rings of death. Then there is the other friend I have who owned the first generation Wii and kept it until it quit on him. He still doesn't have plans to buy the WiiU anytime soon. That said, it just makes sense for CCP to focus on making Dust a stable and better game for the PS3 for the time being. Besides, even a simple look in the market shows that it will probably be 2 years before the PS4 finally starts taking over the market.

Like what they have done with EVE through out the 10 years of its life, while dealling with faster GPUs and different operating systems .. Id link the podcast but I dont have it with me...

Well like I've said, I'll wait and see, though if we see dust announced as a game for PS4 release we will have our answer, just hoping they still go on with PS3 release, that's all. If they are smart it woulden't be wise to tick their customer, but again, maybe a sweet deal from Sony could convince them otherwise.
