I propose a modification to the current "Price Percentage Change".
A percentage price consistency between and across the dropsuit levels and types would be fair under the current economic model. The price increase that exist between two different levels but under the same category of dropsuits should be similar be held to be consistent between the different types.
For consistency I would suggest the following fixed percentage changes to be considered:
Prototype Suits - 18.33% Advanced Suits - 18.32% Standard Suits - 18.31%
In plain english, the proposed changes will ONLY affect the following dropsuit levels : Type-II, B-Series and vk1
Prototype
Heavy vk1: 246,800 Vk0: 85,160 Difference: 161,640 Percentage Change: 48.69%
Logistics vk1: 112,680 Vk0: 77,760 Difference: 34,920 Percentage Change: 18.34%
Scout vk1:101,920 Vk0: 70,360 Difference: 31,560 Percentage Change: 18.32%
Assault vk1: 91,200 Vk0: 62,960 Difference: 28,240 Percentage Change: 18.32%
Advanced
Heavy B-Series: 40,560 A-Series: 28,000 Difference: 12,560 Percentage Change: 18.32%
Logistics B-Series: 25,560 A-Series: 17,640 Difference: 7,920 Percentage Change: 18.33%
Scout B-Series: 23,120 A-Series: 15,960 Difference: 7,160 Percentage Change: 18.32%
Assaul B-Series: 20,680 A-Series: 14,280 Difference: 6,400 Percentage Change: 18.31%
Standard
Heavy Type-II: 13,320 Type-I: 9,200 Difference: 4,120 Percentage Change: 18.29%
Logistics Type-II: 12,160 Type-I: 8,400 Difference: 3,760 Percentage Change: 18.29%

I like the idea. I didn't check the math but so I can't point out if there's any mistakes lol

CCP updates and fixes have a slow rate, players are able to a look at the "weekly bug reports" and see how a lot of bugs haven't been solved for quite some time, but it is not their fault and we all know it will take time for the game to reach an acceptable level.
Regardless of the previously stated fact, a secondary market is just that. Which means little if we consider that there is not a production function set in place for the development of Dust 514 gear, equipment, vehicles and modules. Thus it leaves most of the suits being bought from the "Marketplace" and obtained through "salvage".
Don't get me wrong I believe in the basics of supply and demand but when there is not an actual supply side equation put into place that can be efficient at least in the short-term, the inconsistency that arises from prices is important as of now and a fix in the price will have an immediate impact in the marginal utility and propensity of use that players will have.
After stating that a fix to the following suits in general will improve the balancing at least until a viable alternative goes through the brainstorm process, coding, implementation, balancing and the fix of bugs
All things equal, this is about ISK and overpricing, which could destroy a price system in the future in a secondary market, a rational player that can produce a good at a rate sufficient to meet the demand would be likely to price the good at a marginal discount that would use the market rate as a reference. Thus, the marketplace prices will still be taken into consideration by anyone who has a quarter of his brain. (Per se a player prices a good at 100,000 ISK higher than the marketplace, that good would likely not sell)
Sidebar, player's decision rule towards using a prototype heavy dropsuit is being hammered by the fact the suit doesn't reflect a proportional change in price if compared against the prices and increases of other suits. How does decreasing the price of prototype heavy dropsuit affect the price system and the market?. Well it shifts the willingness of player to use, but not the capability. That will subsequently act as a sinking pool of ISK in the short term.
