Really hope it's a TECH 2 rifle.... sense it's in the assault rifle category; i don't think it should have its own SP tier but rather build upon AR proficiency and AR operation skills. |

Its the Gauss Rifle, its own weapon answer to the gallente plasma rifle. (which I hope gets its name changed) |

Edit: Twitter confirms that CA is an abbreviation for Caldari. As is GA (Gallente), MM (Minmatar), and AM (Amarr). Racial weapons are a go it looks like! awesome! thats the screen shots they showed us 4 months ago! HOW INNOVATIVE!
All this means to me is that it should be closer to release then. |

I would like to see the CA rifle be the exact opposite of the current AR.
Currently ARs get 110% on shields and 90% on armor. I would like to see the CA rifle get 90% on shields and 110% on armor. |

Basically when all the new crap comes out all three of my character slots are going to be filled, all of them will be Caldari, and all of them exclusively using Caldari gear....more to the point. ALL OF THEM WILL BE BADASS! |

It it's a rail, then it's going to be doing hybrid damage like the Sniper Rifle and Forge Gun do, so 100% to both.
As for the helmet everyone's talking about, my money's on it being Gallente or Amarr. Minmatar pack a lot of sensors into their infantry's equipment and every time they're mentioned in the books they have full coverage face-masks. |

They could just give us our racial variant to start with or they could just let us choose which one we wanted our current skill ported to. Either way I wouldn't care.
TBH, I'd prefer if they went with the Energy/Hybrid/Projectile designations rather than true racial designations. |
