I personally don't run them but my friend bought a few.
he said they really werent worth what he spent in RL money

Game is pay to get advantage not pay to win.
Just cause someone pays doesn't make them suddenly not ********.
I'd be more worried about the people who are smart paying to get a greater advantage over noobs than they already had. |

If we aren't whining about dudes bringing militia only, then we're whining about proto AUR or otherwise. The only thing that hasn't changed, is that people are whining. Salty tears are great and all, but a high sodium diet is hell on battle readiness. |

Seriously the suits really do suck. But im not gana lie they make me feel better in the warbarge BAHAHA!!!!
So I decided to not go for actual isk Caldari proto suits, and wait untile we have Amarr assault dropsuits, something relevant to my own race ingame. Ima save my aur and skill points |

I dont give a **** if you like spending real money in a game. Pay to win is a normal thing nowadays. I just want to say my K-D ratio got severly damaged since those Proto AUR Dropsuits came out.....Specially since i play as heavy.

BUT i was acutally thinking that yesterday. Everyone got PROTOS overnight? and im still Type A? XD

well, seriously, many beta tester have reached the proto suit now, many people have more or less 5 mln SP now ( beta + boosters) so yeah, it is possible that "everyone" has a pro to suit now. But many won't last, just because they can't afford it...
pay to win. Yes it could a be pay to win but it's not for the proto itself . You should spend an insane amount of money in order to make this game p2w. So it sound pretty fair to me. And btw if you have problems taking down a proto is just because the guy is good, not because he have a proto. Finally what does proto give you? one module? Then what? it's just 60 more on the shield or a 10% + damage or some other kind of advantage. Yes stacking penalty is broken everyone knows, but is something that won't last...
At the same time, i do agree that proto at lvl 3 is too much "unfair"... |

I agree as well. Personally, I am outfitting prototype suits in my B series (The guys who needed that black suit early anyways). It is not a matter of losing more. My stats have increased irrespective of the change. I don't like knowing that the prestige of prototype gear is gone. Seeing a black suit doesn't make me think "This is someone dedicated to the cause". It make me think "I wonder if they paid money for it or not".
That being said, AUR protosuits eat bullets just the same. My cut is upped no matter how much ISK or AUR you spend. I stay in my lane. Ball out blue dots. You got it. |

Finally what does proto give you?:You have the 300+ Skill P you didnt have to pay to reach the Proto for a starter?
Plus compared to a Type A/B heavy with 2 miserable slots on each side ( [- -] & [ | ] ), a Proto logi suit with 4 of each or an assault with 3-4?...
And yeah ''SKILLED PLAYERS''. Guess that last week i played, all the good players were gone. And yesterday they all just happen to appear with proto suits...
Again im not saying Anything.

Just Dont treat me like im stupid. If there was no advantage to AUR protosuits then people wouldn't be buying them.

i drink the tears of my enemy as i kill him and destroying his AUR paid proto suit 
killed this one dude and i guess he wasnt too happy about it and he came after me 3 times after the first kill, and all 3 times he ran into me and my squad comprised of a heavy, a logi, two assault guys, suffice to say he died quite horribly but it felt good to kill him and make him lose those AUR proto suits
didnt see him afterwards, think he got pissed and started running with a cheap suit hahahahaha |
