There's more than one reason for wanting to start a new character. Maybe he wants to change the look of his merc or name or something.
If you have AUR that you haven't spent, that'll transfer between all of your characters too btw. If you want to change something with an AUR item so you don't have to start over (like the look or race of your merc) you can search for the threads in the feedback and requests section of forums. Maybe it's something completely different, but you can give feedback or request for what you want in that section ;) |

There it is considered that you will need all those SP even if they are in the Wrong Skill currently. Basically the response said, don't terminate the character but change its course.
The official position has Always been that decisions have consequences in New Eden where both EVE and DUST exist. Terminating a character erases it. And in ten hours will erase Everything associated with it. |
