I play As a Heavy (and side dropsuit CQ Scout) , but i NEVER see any Heavy Proto dropsuits anywhere. Is the reduced fitting Space THAT much of a poblem in the case of the Heavy Vk's?
Or they just get stomped by Vk Logi/Assault that Hard? Sure you can boost The Armor of any of those but at the cost of speed nevertheless, plus the Fitting spots making the only real advantage a reduced hitbox....
I feel that 3 -- and 2 | are enough fo the HP + Shield of the Heavies. I mean using Vk.01 (the Type B / II equivalent) You can have up to a shield increase of 66x3 ! and have 2 Enhanced Armor repairers. That with Field mechanics lv5 and a proto HMG must count for something...or am I THAT wrong and should start focusing using only CQ Scouts....? Help? XD |

I think you do not see them very often because they are very expensive, and they are not worth it for what you get.
I did see the AUR heavy suit today, the guy got stomped my group killed him 10 times, he also felt squishy so I assume he had that suit with militia modules. |

its more a ISK issue here. A fully fit proto heavy is the most expensive thing in the game apart of Tanks. We are talking about 500.000ISK with complex modules, weapons and the suit itself. This is the reason why nobody runs them due to the ISk efficency. Most heavys will have the MH-82 HMG on a type-II heavy with complex damage mods and some other fancy stuff. |

That does make sense. Well i asked cuz i already have complex stuff but i only use Type - II
And i was thinking of getting the Proto Heavy but i say it does cost about 250K for 1 suit, and it doesnt even have more HP/Shield.ITs just the same Type B armor with an extra slot.... >..> And costs more than the double . with a 3 -- and 3 | it would justify it but it would be OP. SO t least the price should be reduced a little.... i dont know. The fact that you can buy a TANK with that money but get charged the same for a Dropsuit that is basically a Type B with an extra slot and more CPU seems lame TBQH.... |

Srsly? but wouldn't that make it as Slow but with the disadvantage of not being able to equip Heavy weapons?...

it's the price for the damned thing! 200k more ISK just to get an extra highslot and a little more CPU?? LOOOOL
I'm sticking with B series till CCP makes it worthwhile to get VK1
Besides, not like you're an invincible tank. 1 death, if you're running proto everything can cost you 300+k ISK...probaby closer to 400k ISK. |

Yea, there's no real reason to run a proto heavy unless you're running with a forge and it's a corp battle. |

I see, well thanks for the feedback then. I'll go for the Type B and stick there then.... until CCP make those useless potos worth their money or make them a little more cheap. (240k i think they cost D: at least the VK.01) |

yeah they're too expensive for what you're getting sadly. |
