This has been spoken of before. I felt the need to list it here.
But in light of the dev feedback given here in Mithridates VI's awesome thread.
It's good if we are more specific about things, that CAN be implemented here on the PS3. (For humorous effect, read the following with Kevin Conroy's voice, the voice of Batman, from the animated series.)
In the Neocom, either under the Character tab or under the Market tab we need a "Finances" menu.
In this menu we should find a number of financial options, and oodles of data relating to income, expenses, and LATER the player market. Options that I hear EVE has, that can be implemented here, which I'm surprised haven't been yet. (Honestly, ive had more financial options playing Monopoly.)
Income Data and Options
- Average daily to weekly income rate logs. (monthly or longer only if people want it, because logs can tax a system in any term longer than this)
- Income tracking. (A log of anyone or anything that has sent money to you. at the moment, we need to send emails along with any donations or withdrawals that are made to the corp account, just to keep track. this should NOT be necessary.)
- Multiple savings accounts w/ options. (allow us to arbitrarily make as many isk accounts as we see fit, and allow us to establish presets that divvy up our income from battle between those accounts, automatically.)
Expenses Data and Options
- Average daily to weekly expense rate logs.
- Expense tracking. (obviously, you're going to want to keep track of where your money goes. this data can also serve as a receipt.)
- Spending options. (options to automatically replenish fittings, or items within fittings, at the end of every battle. options to set presets to automatically donate a set amont of %age of personal income to your corp, OR to another player. options to automatically divvy up whatever set amount of money to as many peer accounts as you see fit.)
Player Market Data and Options
- Basic trading. (select any player's name, a "Trade" option appears. a small window, listing items and/or isk to be traded pops up. Both players select Accept when necessary items are added. Trade complete. Simplicity itself. A record of the transaction is added to both player's Expense tracking log.)
- Average market values. (punch a name, do a search, or just browse the market for player posted items for sale. A market value is given on an item, based on an average derived from various player-set prices. )
(Actually, I have a bunch of market ideas, I won't list here because they aren't as critical as the other ones.)
This is all I can think of at the moment.
