great game so far...but most of us old guys brains cant pick up on the general layout of alot of shooter...please oh please give us the legacy layout, I'm not sure why every shooter doesnt have it anyway. |

every game should allow u to map buttons as u see fit.
u may want to check out the cronus device, it lets u do just that. |

i had actually looked at that but was hesitating since i wasnt 100% clear whether it would allow me to set things up like i wanted.

as far as i know u can swap 100%. what did u have in mind? triangle to r3, that can be done.
u can also save up to 9 profiles |

just swappin the sticks up... i like to move foward and back and turn with my left stick and then look up and down/strafe with my right stick... dont understand why companies cant just put those options in thier games. |

Probably because they have over 1000 requests a day on this forum and though it may seem somewhat inconsequential from our side it take valuable time on their side..
This is something that has been posted god knows how many times and is coming SOONtm
for the time being, can we please just fix those damn stacked dmg mods? |

I agree with what this guy said in the linked post.....im not raggin on CCP this is my opinion for all shooters....as the years go on it seems less and less of them have hardly any customization on controls....this has turned me away from many shooters.
When i say im not sure why every shooter doesnt have it anyway im not saying because they dont have enough stuff to do...i know it takes alot to create a game, but bad controls for us older guys takes the fun out, for some reason my mind is tuned to legacy setup for my sticks and no matter how much i have tried i cannot get used to any other layout, and believe me i have tried alot.
I started with good old golden eye on the N64 and ever since that is all i can do, i can conform to any button layout,just not my sticks, what i find funny is when these types of games first started comming out we had somewhat limited stick options...then there was a period where it seemed everyone gave us all the options and now we are getting back to the limited options, this is why it bugs me. |
