Concerning the Black Eagles Dropsuit - please... For the love of God don't screw this one up. Whenever someone (who reads the lore at least) thinks 'Gallente' they think Black Eagles (though technically we should be calling them Blaque Eagles,  )
Pertaining to the event I'd like to make two points.
A.) I dunno who to fight for! Seriously, Black Eagles are the epitome of all that is awesome in the Gallente Federation, mysterious as they are. On the other hand, what they're doing is... well, for lack of a better word, illegal. Think this will be the first event where I actually fight for whatever side I'm on rather than - oh, I dunno, just standing there if I'm on the team I don't want to win 
B.) Also would this be sort of a parallel universe for the Gov'ment vs Anonymous? Not trying to rile up some political thing in the forums but I thought the 'hacktivist' pass was sort of tongue in cheek  |

In a rampant democracy like Gallente, activists and such can often jump at shadows, creating demons out of thin air. Just because someone is blowing a whistle, doesn't mean it's a whistle that needs blowing.
There must be some level of secrecy if your "side" wants to have any chance of surprising the enemy. And Caldari is one hell of an enemy. So, what they are doing might be "illegal" but it's is probably not evil.
I'll fight for who ever pays me, personally. All this is none of my concern. |

Eh, maybe one day we'll get a short video trailer before each event. Yanno, when CCP has enough resources to dedicate an entire team solely to making two minute long trailers of notable characters pointing fingers at one another through a video screen with orbital strikes going off on the planet in the background.

I realize the constraints CCP is under and that they're working on expanding the event timeframes...but no chance for the cool gear...  |

14:00 GMT is 9:00 Eastern Time (i.e. Toronto, New York) and 6:00 Pacific (i.e. LA, SanFran, Vancouver)
22:00 GMT is 17:00 Eastern time, and 14:00 Pacific time.
Once again, you guys run an event that pretty much screws any working person in the Americas, preventing them from participating.
Seriously, WTF?!?!?!
And to make matters worse, you're giving something away for participating!
Why not do one of the following:
1 - Make it a 24h event, giving DUST players around the world an equal opportunity to join in?
2 - Keep the same time, but PUT THE EVENT ON SATURDAY..... one day later?
This is the 3rd or 4th event that you've run that has completely been unplayable for Americas-region players. I have a full-time job, and I've actually been buying AUR to keep my boosters fired up. I represent that revenue that you hope to realize through Dust 514.

Heck, the former President had a disgraced general tortured to death on interstellar holovid to appease the masses.
Of course, it's not just the government. There is an EVE mission that revolves around allegations of Quafe being formulated for mind control. |

P.S.And would I pick Gallente or Amarr any day just because of their designs , government , people and DEM cities. |

The spread of times is basically as much as we are capable of doing now for manpower reasons until we get better tools to run the events.
However, we're aware not everyone WILL be able to participate so we're looking at options to expand the ability of people to get limited time items. |

I don't care when you run events as much as the fact that you're giving access to exclusive items solely to people who play in a narrow time window. Basically: Either figure out how to do an event for 24 hours, or don't offer exclusive items for it. |

Well they are exclusive for a reason, if you can-Št make it there will probably be another one, that been said, it is at 6:00 am here in Costa Rica, i mean come on, i am still on vacations but 6:00 its just pushing it |

You did notice that it's happening for 8 hours and you only need to show up for one match during that time, right?
So if that 6am is the start time, then you've got until 1pm, and if it's the end time then you can go online at 10pm and catch a game. |

Feel honoured they extended it for an extra two hours (specifically for people in your timezone), and if you don't live too far from work you can get home in time to still be in with a chance! |

this. My ability to get a black eagles scout suit should never be predicated on my willingness and ability to tell my boss "No, hell no CCP is running an event today! I'm not coming into work!"
if you cannot run an event so that everyone gets a chance to get in on the goods, don't run them and offer goodies for doing so.
Either that or hire an event team to run events on central time or something and set up a control node for the servers in major timezone brackets so you can hand off the torch and keep things running if you cannot automate the process. |

If only CCP had an office in the US. Maybe near a major metropolitan area like Atlanta. I'm sure a team like that would be happy to help out on live events even if it wasn't their primary project. |
