THe only difference between a 200,000 isk gunlogi and a 1,200,000 isk sagaris is a marginal (10-20) increase in PG, CPU, armour, and shields, as well as a 5%/lvl bonus to missiles (but who uses missiles anyway). The HP should be buffed a lot, and there should be a new slot for special mods (seige mods) which only high lvl tanks can use which increase the dmg, hp, etc by HUGE amounts (25% or so).
Right now, my 800,000 isk gunlogi can stomp 2,000,000 isk sagarises or suryas with ease. not really fair to them, is it, and gives me no incentive to lvl up.
This problem is actually pertinant throughout every weapon in dust- BUFF HIGH LVL ITEMS MORE! |

This has been discussed before but keep the high lvl tanks the same but give them a siege module
Basically in siege the tank could not move but gets big damage buffs and better cool down times, also perhaps buffed hp. But it takes time to go into or out of seige mode...... Like eve dreads |

i aint skilling for the Surya for quite a while as its not financially viable to use it until you have the Marauder skill up |

Marauders get more shield and hp then the standards they also get more shield recharge rate and an extra low or high slot depending on which tank you are using. Gallente marauders tanks get that awesome 4% buff per marauder level yes caldari get missiles which is a bit pointless but its still a nice buff for the tanks. They also come with slight more pg and cpu which is also nice it's a completely better version then the previous one. This can be compared to meta, tech 2, and faction and above in EVE. Meta is cheap most of the time and tech 2 isn't much higher but faction and deadspace is significantly higher for not that much more unnecessary boost. Once you pass tech 2 even the small boost like getting an extra 3% can become expensive like 50 mill. If you want to maximize your vehicle your gonna have to pay the price. Stick with a standard tank then but once all your modules and skills are maxed you will want to make that transition to something better.

proto and standard aren't to far off but the price range obviously is it's simply how the game works. Server is down so i couldn't check actual prices. |

I think they aren't worth the price. However, a substantial increase in PG/CPU and Assn extra slot for whatever would allow more high ended modules to be equipped and thus make a better tank without leaving the game broken. The damage mod it comes with can pretty much go. |

Yeah have fun playing with nobody but yourself when the game launches out of beta and all of the testers can 1 shot any new players who try to join. Great strategy there. That'll bring tons of fresh players in. |
