- Run an open squad with room for randoms to join
- Use a mic
- Give squad orders
- Get your squad to the top of matches
Build a strong squad first and people will notice. I run a fairly closed corp made up of friends and fellow EVE pilots but we get a few requests each week from randoms that see us on the field.
A strong squad is all that really matters anyway. When bigger corps have a purpose you can grow your squad into something that can handle the new game features. For now I'm intentionally keeping the Outriders small and casual.

Make sure to keep adding contacts of people that you meet in games and have fun playing with. Most clans/corps start from a core group of friends that want to play together.
Some specific ideas of how to build - Always make sure you are part of a squad or at least in team speak. Nobody is going to notice you unless you are doing something. - At least constantly be in the top 3-4 on the match leaderboard. The idea is to get noticed and distance yourself from all the other small corps
The big thing to understand is that its not going to be easy and, chances are, it might not work out. People tend to gravitate towards large or elite corps first before taking a chance on new ones. You best bet is to start as a social corp and just have fun. |

All of the above points are good and valid espesially the just have some fun part. It will take time for your corp to grow to deacent numbers . Iv found some really players for my corp just by squadding up with folks from the local chat . That and exchanging banter with people I have had a good fight against. I.e. when the battle is done some friendly exchanging of taunts like ill get you next time or f sake I didnt see you shotgun till the plasma hit my face , ect usually folowd by fancy squading up we can create beautifull death togeather and the like . So I gues what im saying is the more acctive you and your members become tge larger your corp will grow . |

Keep creating forums like this create forums in the recruitment locker also when running public request people to join your squad use a mic and recruit during quick matches. Even 5 members a day equals 35 members in a week all the best corps in the game didn't just grow over night stick with it and in a month or two you'll have 100 - 200 members in your corp. My corp in eve is growing relatively slow but in a month we have 30 members. |

Constant, unceasing, direct recruitment. Play a match, check leader board, send mail/contact asking them to join. Rinse and repeat. Even if 99% of people say no, every 10 games you'll gain a member. Once you hit a critical mass it becomes a lot easier.
Ask others in your corp to help (recruitment drive). |

Chrome, your math skills are off again lol
But he is right, persistence is key to building. Anytime you do well in a match, try and group up/recruit the others that are at the top. |

You could always merge with another small corp. That way you keep most of your power (probably) and expand your ranks.
I see a bunch of these tiny corps with very few players. If some of them joined up, not only would they double their ranks and partake in some of the more interesting features (Corp battles, and soon to be Faction Warfare), but they also get their name out there because people see them in games more. |

i've seen many failed attempts of recruiters- spamming local is about the worst thing you can do, it shows your corp is just trying to fill up a list and has no standards. any serious player usually won't stay in a corp like that for long because since everyone was basically recruited randomly no on has anythng in common to bond them together. like alreadyy said above if you win battles people will notice your corp at the top of the scoreboard. the main reason to even be in a corp as of now is so you can build cohesive sqauds with familiar people that are hopefully able to get along and work towards a common goal like winning corp battles to build your corps reputation. another fail is CEOs trying to bribe ppl, that doesn't create loyalty if a player feels like he's been bought and most bought players, though like the money, will not swear alligence to someone who buys them, they will move on to the next offer. |

Depends on how many of "the top" he sends mails to.
Also, I wouldn't always advise shooting for the top players in a match unless you're up there too. They're usually people in well organized corps already or are vets just biding their time.
Mail off people in "your range", maybe the 3-5 above and 3-5 below wherever you may rank. If they happen to remember your score on the board they'll make a comparison of your abilities to their own which can benefit you as well. Just don't tell them that or show any desperation, just let them think it. People always want to do stuff when they think it's their own idea. |

I am not a CEO and wile i read one of your other threads i did not read all of this one.
I am working tward an ace dropship pilot. The CEO of the group I am in asked me to join after riding with me in a myron i managed to keep alive and spawning.
I have never met another person from my "group" .
If anyone shows me a "group" that works together Id bail and change. So your best answer is. Play well Make friends that make friends Find people who complement each other make them want to log in thinking oy yea blah blah is gonna be my gunner.
Otherwise. Its just a solo act.
